Oshin Hotels

We have been visiting kalpetta and have stayed in different Oshin Hotelss. Our experience in terms of hygiene and service quality have always been very disappointing. We chose o shin for a night's stay during the visit at oshin. The experience in all respects _ hospitality at the reception desk, room quality, restaurant service and food options/quality and overall service levels_ did exceed our expectations. The Oshin Hotels is located on the highway, opposite the civil station hence very easy to locate. It has convenient access from the highway. It has ample parking spread across two levels the reception area is large with comfortable seating. The staff at the front office are well trained ( a significant difference from other places, highly professional, efficient and courteous. We were greeted by deepa and sona while checking in and they ensured a smooth check-in and quick introduction to the room and services available. We had booked a standard room. The room size is adequate and is well appointed with good furniture, furnishings and amenities. Our room had a great view of the lush green surroundings and beautiful mountains. There is a bay window, which provides a good seating place to enjoy the natural beauty while one sips a coffee! there is a nice little electric coffee maker with all the consumables provided. The bathroom is large and furnished with two clean and large towels and all basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, dental kit etc. The restaurant on the ground floor is nicely furnished and laid out. Buffet bra had a variety of options _ including cut fruits, croissants etc. The ala carte menu offers a mix of kerala and north indian cuisines. There is as lot of greenery and flowers in compound _ overall upkeep of the premises is good. Customer experience can be further enhanced with the provision of a shower cubicle in the bathroom ( right now there is nothing provided so water spills all over while bathing. It will be good to provide bathroom slippers on demand.

We had a night stay over in oshin. Had a peaceful stay in a neat and tidy room. The property has an ample space for parking, the reception staffs were extremely cooperative and friendly. They had a nice pool area, provided a decent gym. Overall i would rate it 4/5 for the entire experience. The food was delicious. They provided a complimentary breakfast buffet. The pancake was yummy. And one important person, who showed us the benchmark for hospitality is mr. Vinayan (restaurant manager or supervisor, we think so. He did a commendable job and treated us extremely well. We respect him. But, we had to experience a bitter and rude experience from one of the staffs at the restaurant. When we went for the dinner it felt like he want us to go out to some other eateries. He was too rude and has an arrogant attitude, may be due to his ignorance of hospitality. We suggest him to learn from mr. Vinayan who set an example there.

It's hardly 5-10 mins away from the kalpetta bus stand. Every tourist spot is exactly at the same distance (different directions). you can rent a scooty (don't rent from local unauthorised people unlike me.. I ended up in a situation but gladly Oshin Hotels staff had it under control). breakfast menu is not vast but it's good. you will get everything from idli, dost , chicken khurma to fruits to shakes to bakery.. they even have spa , swimming pool and a coffee shop . food prices are reasonable unlike in north. you can have breakfast under 500/person (buffet) and lunch 900 for 2 (a la carte). coffee under 150 rupees for a whole mug. 😁 if you need anything then simply call the staff , they are really good. worth the price . just book it without thinking

Good location of Oshin Hotels to visit different attractions in wayanadu. New Oshin Hotels and rooms were clean. Decent breakfast. Supportive front desk. However house keeping did not respond to our request for tooth paste (we were a family of 3 and only one tooth paste/brush was kept in room) and a conditioner- despite we requesting them 4 times in 2 days. Finally we managed it ourselves from outside as we didn't want to spoil an otherwise great trip to wayanad by fighting with Oshin Hotels guys. Also pool timings of 8 am to 6 pm means most people who have gone to sight seeing cannot use it. (even at 8. 45 am pool clockroom was not open - may be the security is new just like the Oshin Hotels is)

Hotel o shin is a perfect place to stay in kalapetta wayanad. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. "hospitality, kindness, cleanliness ans service were there as expected. "affordable price, excellent location! quite smooth reservation process, very friendly service at the desk, clean & large room for two the Oshin Hotels team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. On my next stays, i will definitely check into Oshin Hotels o shin again. The price performance ratio is very good"

We had booked three rooms for two days at oshin. The stay was really comfortable and excellent. The amenities are really great and property is brand new! the staff is courteous and polite. They were really helpful from the moment we checked till we checked out. In between we had some difficulty outside for finding an operating petrol pump due to one day strike in wayanad district. But the Oshin Hotels staff really did all the efforts to guide us to get to the operating petrol pump in other district. The restaurant is good. The food was a bit bland for our taste but we did enjoy the quality of food and service.

Located on kalpetta highway with good ambience. Staff were friendly and helped us in explaining the Oshin Hotels rules and the amenities available and check in process. Rooms are clean and available with nice balcony and view. Room service and reception were quick to assist with our requirements. We did not try the restaurant as we were looking for pure veg. Food. If the Oshin Hotels can improvise for separate restaurants for veg and non veg that would be a plus point for Oshin Hotels and as well for travellers. Overall had a nice stay for 2 nights at oshin. Thanks to the Oshin Hotels team for their services.

Stay at oshin Oshin Hotels was good. Hotel is clean n hygienic as this is a new property. Swimming pool is awesome. However, no other indoor games for kids. Swimming pool timings are not comfortable as they start asking us to come out at 7 pm which is too early as we come back from sightseeing after 6, then not enough time to enjoy pool. They should adjust their cleaning time and provide guests more time. Food is average. Room service is not managed well. We need to ask receptionist to clean the room if we stay for more than one night. They don't do it by default. Overall, average rating.

Staff is very helpful and service is excellent . Recommended Oshin Hotels if ever come to Kalpetta

Overall it was a very good stay. Neat and clean rooms and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was good. Food quality needs to improve.

Nice environment with homely food.

It is a relatively new Oshin Hotels so everything is clean and everything works. The hospitality of the staff was very nice. Food is ok. Can be better. But overall it was a good stay. They have a big parking space so no problem with parking. Location is also good.

The room & bathroom was clean n upto the mark. Breakfast was good. The staff n guard was helpful n polite.

Excellent stay and location. Amenities are awesome

I had booked the suite room and i have to say, i was really impressed with the room type and overall stay. The staff were friendly and had good behavior. The only negative experience was that the swimming pool was too crowded and made me not wanna go. Maybe it was because of the season. If a maximum people rule was implemented it would have been great. Other than that, the overall experience was very good.

The Oshin Hotels was well maintained and clean it can be better, they don’t provide some basic facilities like iron, shower slippers etc

Every place of the Oshin Hotels is neat and clean. Good ambience. It is the nice place for the staycation. .

This Oshin Hotels is situated near kalpetta city, hygienic place, nice restaurant, overall good place to stay.

Room and all the atmosphere are fantastic. Restaurant is more expensive. And the food's are not worth for the money.
