OSTEL Auroville

Location is great. The view of the ocean from the deck is brilliant. As such this is neither in white town nor in auroville, so if you want to specifically explore these places, you'll need a little travel. They had a functional cafe. Not exactly a value cafe that you'd associate with a hostel. At par with what you'd find on normal swiggy restaurants. The service, for a hostel was nice. I did have a big problem with my duvet on the first night. I think it was a bit buggy/itchy. They very quick enough to change that the next day. Also my reading light was non functional, they they changed within 2 days. These are good services for a hostel. Just that needed some work there. They have a regular cleaning service which is great the vibe of the place is very very good. With the staff, the lounge, the deck, and generally well designed rooms, this is a gem. Sita somewhere between your typical hostel and a OSTEL Auroville in terms of the offering

I had a wonderful stay at Ostel.in, Pondicherry. The property's location is excellent, within walking distance of key attractions and the serene beach. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a hassle-free experience. I particularly enjoyed the delicious food and the thoughtful amenities provided. It’s a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting pondicherry.

We booked the sea view room which is a really worthwhile and memorable one. Games added to the package was an additional benefit (not a mandatory, but you can meet and greet new people on your stay. Stay and cleanliness : 5 room service : na, would be better if the ostel initiates this way forward property finder : had a challenge to find the location as nothing catchy boards were available on the streets

The stay was so pleasant and the cleanliness of the property were maintained so good. The crew was so friendly and the view was AMAZING from the rooftop, best for sunrise and fun talks with your friends and family.

Clean, Accessible to the beach and the staffs are super friendly. The overall stay was peaceful and the sunrise from the balcony was amazing. Coming back for sure!!!

Room was good, clean and hygiene were maintained. The overall ambience is very good specially the lounge and the terrace. However, the night staff was not available when i needed to get my ac on.
