OTDC Panthanivas, Gopalpur

We had a two days stay from 18th to 20th march, 2023 in a cottage of this property. It has the typical otdc layout with a spacious bedroom, adjacent drawing cum dining room, a dressing room close to the bathroom (which in it self would be 50 sq ft, and a broad, long verandah amid-st a beautiful and well-maintained garden. I have seen at least three-four different types of butterflies flying in the garden, and could identify the baronet and the common mormon among them. The staff is very helpful and well behaved. The manager made the arrangement for car and other vehicles whenever requested on time. I would recommend to order odia style cooked food than chinese cuisine. Normal dal, fish, pakora, chicken, mutton curries have unique taste of odia combination of spices. For breakfast one would get only two options - puri sabji n bread-omlette. The beach is near but one need to climb down through a sandy path to reach the sea shore. Another downside is you will see plenty of stray dogs and cats roaming around and walking in the garden path. There is also no water boiler and tea sachet in the room. The place is around 1 km away from the main beach front of gopalpur but one can easily walk down that path. Overall, we wanted a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of city and crowd. The OTDC Panthanivas and the beach nearby was a perfect fit for that.

We visit the otdc panthnivas 7 to 8 may. The location of the OTDC Panthanivas is very good and as they have a private beach you don't have to go far for the beauty of the bay of bengal. The light house is also near. You can walk around the the nearby places like light house, beach market etc. The rooms are clean and maintain hygiene. The staff behaviour is also good. But the food is like ok. Not up to the mark.

We stayed two nights 5 & 6 january at gopalpur otdc. We booked one room in main building and a cottage. The room at main building was not much spacious but the cottage was awesome with a king size bedroom and a drawing room. It was neat and clean. Beach was 300 meter away, a very cosy portion of the beach. Food was very good and reasonably priced. The kitchen staffs were efficient and courteous.

Good location with easy accessible sea beach, good food. Little problem with general cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms - cobwebs and dust in windows and chairs in the balcony but beddings, towels were clean. Daily room cleaning service is not available even after requesting

Geizre was not functioning in my allotted cot. No. 201. However, when complained they shifted me to cot. No. 203. Service of the staff were fine. But window was sealed and the wooden rellings were broken. Dinner, breakfast and lunch were fine. Just like home made.

There are very few reasonable seaside options at gopalpur. This OTDC Panthanivas is o e of them. It is next to the sea. Only thing is you need to cllmd down a sand dune. The food is hygienic and reasonable. All facilities mentioned are there.

Room was clean, spacious with all amenities, including a closed verandah. Food was satisfactory and spacious dining space. Service was satisfactory. Maintenance needs improvement. Check out time of 8. 00a. M. Is quite odd

Location of resort / OTDC Panthanivas is near to sea beach of gopalpur. Food quality is good but service should be improved along-with menu. Breakfast is limited ie only 1 item with tea. Overall experience is good.

Rooms are well maintained. Staff are very cordial and humble. Nice return value of price. The range of vegetarian foods needs to be increased.

Nice place for stay at the panthaniwas. Good location & natural beauty area for every guests. Room should be upgraded with modern amenities. Food is ok.

Though it was a overnight stay, but the OTDC Panthanivas property, staff, food are good enough. Very satisfied and i would rather recommend this property as all the rooms are facing sea view.

Great food, service, child friendly & good ambience. Love to visit again. One more thing is that the entrance gate needs to repair immediately.

reception was good , the way he talks to me was unexceptable. one point room rent was very high as compare to other place near to it

Excellent arrangements at otdc gopalpur. Rooms are clean specially bathroom is very hyeginic. View and surroundings are superb. One thing that makes the panthanivas more attractive is its private beach.
