OTDC Panthanivas

First of all, location: the OTDC Panthanivas is situated at the top of a small hill so you get a very nice view of the city. Also, it is very close to the city market known as golbazaar. It is just 4 km from the main railway station and also just 4. 5km from sambalpur city railway station, but the auto charges a lot (300 from city station) for climbing up the hill. Food: it's all subjective as different people have different tastes, but the food was just decent without many spices and salt. So if u prefer "sada-khana" then it is for u. Breakfast is complimentary with only 3 options, bread omelet, upma-sabzi, and puri sabzi. Rooms: rooms were decent with good enough space for 2 people(talking about the cheap one, i got for 1500 rupees per night. All rooms have a small balcony, a bathroom attached to them. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Although the room has ac but they didn't provided me with the remote so u cannot change the temperature (set to 22 degree. Demerit: the OTDC Panthanivas does not provides wifi facility, and my jio network was quite slow inside the room. They should improve on thay. Also the checkout time of 8 am is quite early, could be at least shifted to 10am. Staff: the staff is very helpful and friendly, and of all the receptionist (the older one) is so helpful that he provided his personal bike in case of emergency. Sambalpur city: city just lies between tier2 and tier3. Almost all shops close by 9. 15pm. Everything to visit is very far from the city and from each other(like 15-20km. Thus cabs and auto's charge a hell lot. Although the OTDC Panthanivas provides their own service, but is a complete day booking for 1500.

Anyway, I think that this is one of the nicest OTDC Panthanivass, I have ever seen and where I have stayed. One of the best features of this OTDC Panthanivas is that it makes sure that all of its guests have plenty of space around them so that they never feel congested. Another remarkable aspect of this OTDC Panthanivas is that every element in it, including the art pieces, decoration and design, feels like they all are the functional parts of the overall design of this luxury retreat.

Had a wonderful experience. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly well-behaved and helpful throughout my stay with my family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering all the amenities i needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. I highly recommend this OTDC Panthanivas to anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable stay.

I can say that it is present at the heart of sambalpur. One can tour every important location in sambalpur by staying here. The room was good. I am not saying very well but i appreciate the price. The food and services are also quite good. All the staff are very cooperative and friendly. I appreciate the location also.

Would 100% recommend the stay. I did not have very high hopes but the accommodation for the price point was amazing. We availed the premium rooms and we cannot be more happy. The food honestly was average. I wouldn't want others to keep very high hopes there. But you should definitely go ahead and book for the stay

Large spacious rooms. Of-course the age of the property is visible in the interiors, but that can be ignored because of the pricing. The other options available at this price point are really sad. Staff is very courteous and helpful. But the best thing is the food. Excellent homely meals at very affordable prices.

I booked thru make my trip. The price was very reasonable. The OTDC Panthanivas is located at a nice place, very peaceful, room is neat and clean, OTDC Panthanivas staff is well behaved, food price is reasonable and quality very good. Overall my experience is very nice, on my next visit will stay in panthnivas

The location of the property is wonderful. Rooms are neat and clean upholstery are up to the mark. Food and room service is excellent. Moreover the receptionist's behaviour is heart touching. He is a very gentle and humble person. Overall there is nothing adverse to mention according to us.

The stay was excellent. The bathrooms were a bit smelly. Otherwise the staff, food, service, breakfast was all 5. All they need is to renovate the toilets

Excellent room 103. Beautiful balcony & bed & wonderful lighting & good bathroom too with good upvc fittings. Clean & shiny room. Good food quality as well.

Property is well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bed rolls and towels are clean. Bathroom is clean and decent. Service is excellent.

The food is good, the service is good, the rooms are clean, well behaved employees, changes are responsible.

Although google map sometimes may not be showing exact location, however, it was indeed a pleasant stay with nice food facilities.
