Our Native Village

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway from heavy traffic and noise then this is the right place. We travelled with our 8 month old kid and the staffs were readily available for any help. The chef boiled bananas and blended rice for the baby. So baby was full and happy and hence we too. The only disappointment was the road towards the resort. Since it was raining heavily at night the muddy roads were full damp and our car got stuck while coming back. Then the resort guys took us through another road. So make sure you give a call to them when you are deviating from main road so that they sent someone to escort you. Staff named Manish was very prompt and helpful. Overall the stay was really good and enjoyed. We didn't involve in any activity because we wanted a relaxing and lazy holiday.

We visited our native village right after her wedding, and the lifetime experience with my wife will stay with me forever, the staff are very courteous and professional. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs, helping us to alleviate our stress 24/7 and the food all 2 days was simply mind-blowing, it feels like home. The spa service is very enriching, we had a nice destress from all the running around and rituals! the scenic setting and the ambience of the place is simply superb away from all the hustle and bustle of city life, among-st the sounds of peacocks and quacking of ducks, feels like paradise on land! i would definitely recommend to all my circle and friends to try out this wonderful place! 5 star indeed!

Our stay was good, except that there were not many options for food of your choice, food was over priced. Quality of food may require some improvement. No variety. The cost of additional bed were too much for a night, that when asked for not being charged for it. Some of the activities which were being mentioned were not there and people were not interested to arrange it since some of items were not there. However the location of stay is great to stay away from the traffic. I would give a 5 star for the location where the property is situated. However the directions to the property can be better managed with proper roads. Since through GPS we had to follow two directions, one to go and one to come.

Great place to detoxify yourself from the busy city life. Very village - homely ambiance. Lots of fresh air and peace. Provisions for pottery making, bullock cart ride there. Our door and indoor games also there. Lovely pool. The place is surrounded by trees and you can hear birds voice all the time. The road to this place isn’t that great as it’s a rural village. You will not get uber or ola to go back as well, the Our Native Village arranged a cab for me. Food isn’t that great - especially if you are non-vegetarian- not many choices. Staff is all lovely souls.

The location is very good if you want a stay close to nature. The resort has good amount of open space. There are some toys/games kept for kids and activities such as pottery and bullock cart ride for everyone. The area was lush green when we went (rainy seasion) and it was a good stress buster. As others have indicated, the last 4km of road is dirt road. Do get the number of the property manager before you start. They will help out if the vehicle gets stuck in mud (we saw it happen twice during our stay.

The whole environment has been kept in such a manner that it will last for long in your memory after leaving the place. Peaceful, calm, old games (now called village games), sufficiently large area left for extra curricular, breakfast area feeling was like in middle of a not so well combed garden (village kind), Khatiya for lazying around, pottery, approach roads were so long rustic and empty. Wow great getaway.

The property is located in a nice scenic and serene environment. The staff are very cordial, helpful and always willing to help. Many more activities can be added to make the stay more interesting and lively. The swimming pool needs to upgraded. The high tea was a bit expensive with very little choice. Otherwise, overall it was a nice and pleasant stay, far away from the commotion of bangalore.

Nice place away from the busy Bangalore City. But not too far. A village atmosphere. Food is also good. Was able to milk a cow apart from playing village games. The activity manager was energetic and made a good time during night campfire. However some instructor should be present always for explaining all the different games is the suggestion.

I went to native village to celebrate my birthday. It was a great experience staying there. Lots of fun activities like Trampoline, air gun, indoor games, and night trails, camping and stuff. Overall a fantastic trip.

They are charging like 5 star Our Native Village at the time of christmas but not worth the amount u have paid.

Went with family friends with 3 kids. Property is deep inside with same muddy roads but place is very pleasant and peaceful. Did all the activities available inside the resort. Food was decent but bit costly. Service was good, prompt and courteous. Overall experience is good.

The service was quite good. Felt very safe secure Around the asset. Manish was friendly and responsive a lot. Overall, it is a perfect Grand great grandpa house material to enjoy with kids.

It was good. The rooms were not readied with fresh bed sheets, towels etc. There were cobwebs and we came across quite a few insects in the room. But overall, it was good.

We went there after dropping a guest from airport. we had a bullock cart ride and we did clay Modelling and the kids had a lot of fun.

A great place to be with family with a nice village setting. Staff takes good care of you and are professional in their approach. A well kept place with touch of home. Peaceful and quite.

It's a peaceful place for nature lovers, a short distance from the hustle of the City. It's pet friendly and a great place to take children

It's a pleasant property around 2 hrs away from bangalore. Good for a day or two. Rooms are spacious. Its has a appealing simplicity throughout the property. It has few sporting facilities also though not very well maintained, but enough to enjoy. Restaurant food is okay. But staff is very courteous and helpful.

Homely food is just finger licking. Great large room and the activities are really great.

We loved the stay and activities. One difficulty we faced was the approach road which was very bad.
