Oxfordcaps Abuzz - Shimla

I recently stayed at the this hostel during my trip to shimla, and it was an awesome and affordable experience. The hostel offers dormitory accommodation for both boys and girls, and the booking process is convenient as it can be done online. Hostel provided good and tidy value for money accommodation, with no frills or high-end amenities, making it a great budget-friendly option. The staff behavior was excellent, the location was perfect, and the hostel was neat and clean, providing a wonderful and comfortable stay. The common space was cozy, making it easy to interact with other travelers. The property is set in a convenient location, with easy access to popular attractions such as mall road and the indian institute of advanced study. The hostel itself is a delightful blend of modern amenities and rustic charm, offering clean, comfortable, and tastefully designed rooms. Overall, the hostel is a highly recommended and safe option for solo travelers, providing a great value for money experience in shimla.

Little hard to reach with google maps.The staffs are well behaved and helpful. Buses are easily available to reach shimla city. walk able distance from bus stop and railway station. Canteen facility available. We will have to walk up a difficult path to reach the road from the hostel. This will have to be done every time we come out of the hostel. Otherwise a very feasible stay!Satisfied!😊

Caretaker mr. Ajay was very helpful. Helped me to find the location and for early check in. Property information was wrong regarding the distance from isbt shimla to the property as mentioned as 350m. Property is located near tunnel 103. No nearby restaurants or kitchen facilities in the property. No common area.

Decent beds, nice staff, clean toilets, lockers available, the only drawback is you have to climb so high to reach hostel from isbt tutikandi, whereas if you wish to take cab they will be charged 250- just for 1km walking distance

Amazing host. We chit chatted till mid night. He was very cool. Place is a little remote, it feels like you’re walking in the dark forest if you’re checking-in in the night. At-least one light needs to be installed on the day.

maintenance was good, however the dining area was closed due to covid and access to food from the property is restricted but one chain delivers to the property online. The details of that delivery service were hard to procure

My experience was great in oxford abuzz. Their bunk bed is really good. Toilets and bathrooms are also good with proper geyser facilities. Also, the location of the hostel is quite good as it is very near to isbt shimla.

So close to mall road, perfect location, clean and hygienic premises. The bunk beds are literally perfect. Curtains offer a great deal of privacy and the storage options given in and around the bed is perfect

It was very nice staying there, staff was very cooperative and very helpful. Cleanliness was good. Overall experience was very nice. Must visit once

Comfortable and inexpensive experience. You have to try. Receptionist are well manner and helpfull.

Location wise it's very good, near to both old and new bus stand, provides adequate facility.

Location of the hostel near station near isbt bus stand near mall road means all location is near about hostel i am fully satisfied to stay here

Hostel is situated on the centre of shimla, can be accessible from old and new shimla bus depot

As a backpacker this dormitory was best for me. The location is close to isbt but you have to find the shortcut uphill 800 meters small road to the hostel.

Everything was great there, like hospitality, facilities, parking and it was nice to spend time with the staff members there.
