Oyla Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay

Few points i would like to list-out that where we got disappointed 1. We stayed 2 days in 2 rooms. While doing check in they given 1 water bottle complimentary for next day when we asked they said 1 bottle for entire stay which was not good way. All the places are giving q complimentary water bottle for 1 day if next day if we stay they can offer 1 more. Totally 4 people for two days they have given 2 bottle. 2. About kitchen due to all rooms full on sun-day they served food, sun-day night they said chief was on leave so have to buy dinner outside. We also agreed that and asked them to buy dinner at one known Oyla Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay at yercad and the amount was paid by us. But these people bought food from some other Oyla Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay which was not nice. This type of activities they should improve.

Let me start by saying this is a budget stay, meaning, food is inexpensive and very good, no swimming pool, no gym, no extra towels coffee maker tea bags shower gel nor body lotion. Please carry them all. Also, being a remote village, very frequent power drops they do have a generator but not very effective. But your stay will still be pleasant because all these single cottage rooms are constructed in an eco friendly manner stone walls, sloped roof and there was no insect threat either. So not a must stay but a very good budget option. Situated slightly far from city centre and every auto ride to and fro costs a bomb! Of course, this is irrelevant of you have your own transport.

The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the main town while being near to the center. The rooms were very spacious and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager Mr. Krishnan. The food is very tasty and is customized according to the tastes of the customer. Arrangements are made by the Oyla Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay itself for sight-seeing (rates are affordable) and cabs are also booked according to customer requirements. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a well-spent vacation. Thanks to MMT and Oyla cottages.

Private entrance, just 2-3 km from center location (lake, food is awesome and nominally charged, home-like food. But very limited options to choose from. Guest should ensure tv volume is under control or else it's disturbing the next room. Salem night view is awesome from the cottage. Wifi is poor but airtel works best there. Not sure about other networks. Staffs are polite and service is good. Parking space is there. Geyser was working one day and not the other day. Charging points are not proper. Inform as early as possible for tea. Overall worth the money.

The room was just 1km from sterling. It has amazing scenic views. Hospitality of staff were great, they made excellent food. Very quick response. The Oyla Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay is placed in a very scenic location and has a small hill top just behind the property. You can make a small 10mins trek to enjoy the view from hilltop. The property has ample car and bike parking. Overall a great stay at affordable prices. Just down the lane from Oyla Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay we also have shops and nurseries.

Pros: easily accessible through google map, very clean and tidy room and bathrooms, hot water available, peaceful location, safe, tatty homemade dinner, very good breakfast spread, courteous staff, clean bedsheets and towels were provided. Things that could be improved even though parking is there but the cars were not parked properly, no lights in parking area the place was very dark after 6.50 pm, the entry road to the Oyla Cottage | Rooms in a Homestay parking can be cemented, soaps were not provided.

The cottages are at a walking distance from the Lady's Seat and have a very calm surrounding. There are individual cottages which are very spacious. Each cottage has its own sit out area. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have their own kitchen and cook good food. The cottages are a bit far from restaurants. So please ensure to order your dinner in the evening or plan to have your dinner in the town and then return back to the cottages.

There were food stains and dust all Around You can hear noise from other rooms very easily. This becomes very irritating in the night

At the edge of the hustle of the town. Really good property. Good service by the staff, a little relaxed service. No in-house restaurant buy the room service food was good and homely. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway.

The cottages are located facing the lush hreen mountains, early mornings sights are beautiful.

Nice and clean cottage. Helpful support staffs. Food compared to yeracud standards it’s too good. Nights and early morning is too good with the location it’s available.

It's good. Don't have much exception regarding food. View is good. It's peaceful. Early check-in they will charge around extra.

It is a nice peaceful stay with a courteous staff. The room is very clean. The staff are very helpful. It is pretty safe even for girls. I would totally recommend this place. Very reasonable and the home food is yum.

A very good and peaceful Weekend destination. Location has been the highlight as we get a very good view of Salem City. Cleanliness was another good part of the stay. Food was normal.

It is a great place to party with friends. If feel like exploring. You can venture into the jungle behind the cottages. There is a nice viewpoint hidden. It is magical up there.

The cottage is located at the outskirts of yercadu and it is best place to stay peacefully and for getting isolated from busy place and it also has good viewpoint and we could see salem's view from the viewpoint and the food is also good with reasonable price.
