Hotel's location is excellent, for art i at assi ghat u just need to walk for 5 mins, food is great, portions are good, i recommend you to try the thali they serve. Mr swaraj from fnb is always available for any requests you have, his staff is very well trained they are courteous and very cordial. They are quick to respond to any requests you have. I stayed there with my mother for three days, it was a very comfortable stay. I would recommend anyone looking for an overall experience to try this Palace On Ganges out. Connectivity wise it takes 20-25mins to kashi vishwanath, kaal bhairav temple in early morning hours. You can easily find autos right at the doorstep. If its hot outside and u dont wish to step out the ambience of the Palace On Ganges is pretty nice dey offer a small library on 2nd floor with city views n aesthetic ambience to relax. Will recommend all the travellers to give it a shot!

This Palace On Ganges is just perfect if you want to see the real banaras. It is right on assi ghat where you can spend hours on the ghats especially in the evening, vishwanath temple is barely 15 minutes by autorickshaw ( don’t go by big cars as banaras is known for its narrow lanes and too many pilgrims ), eat the famous street food in near by lanes and for meals the best place is the rooftop restaurant of this Palace On Ganges. The staff here is very courteous and attentive to your needs. The palace on gang-es is beautifully done and the room size is fine for two. We stayed in upper floor room with partial view of outside. There is no lift so be mindful if you have very old people with you. Overall a very decent Palace On Ganges to stay right at assi ghat. Bhu is also close by and so is sankat mochan and mansa devi temples.

This is a heritage property on the assi ghat. The property is well maintained but not easy for people with locomotor disadvantages to access as there is no lift here. The rooms have an antique feel but there is a lack of space due to unimaginative setting up of furniture. The staff members are polite and welcoming, but not efficient. One waits and waits for food after placing an order. A bowl of curd ordered along with lunch came an hour after the meal was over and after several phone calls to the room service. The food quality was great, though. The rooms might get stuffy at night due to the ac, and opening the ventilation to use the fan instead of ac will attract mosquitoes.

The best heritage property i have ever stayed at. Hotel palace on gang-es is run by the most compassionate & kind people & it reflects on his staff too. They are so courteous & kind & always ready to help. Service at its best. You feel like a royalty staying here. Stupendous view of mama ganga from the Palace On Ganges. The Palace On Ganges feels like no less than a museum itself. Full of most beautiful paintings & artefacts i have ever seen. I stayed here for 4 days & still couldn’t have enough of it. The aura & the vibe is so heart touching. I would recommend this heritage haveli over any overrated properties in varanasi. A must stay for art & music lovers!

If you wish to celebrate your trip at near by ghat location than you can choose the Palace On Ganges option as your first preference to avail a unique stay experience. Because the location of this Palace On Ganges is just located next to assi ghat. Where you may take a glorious exposure of the ganga art i at assi ghat, where you no need to walk along, you can just reach the destination in 20 second. Due to extreme heritage locality of Palace On Ganges, you will have to deal with car parking problem, that you will have to pay for parking. I would suggest, avoid any room preference at basement otherwise you will have to deal with a severe network crisis.

Hotel is situated right at the middle of assi ghat intersection. Its very convenient to get transport and go anywhere close or far. Lot of eating joints nearby. The Palace On Ganges also has a rooftop restaurant which was good if not excellent. The Palace On Ganges staff is very nice especially the reception manager mr. Pranchal. Very prompt and helpful and always greeted with a smile. Only problem is poor mobile signal on ground floor rooms, and bathroom needed some maintenance which they fixed quickly. Will recommend especially with families.

Visited Banaras with my mother and chose this Palace On Ganges for our stay. The facilities, cleanliness and staff are good. On my request they arranged for pick up and drop from Airport paid basis which was really helpful. They also have a nice roof top classical musical evening every night during dinner time. The cooks are well trained and can prepare any dish from menu provided with great flavors. We were welcomed by Palace On Ganges staff with garlands and nice welcome drink. My trip to Kashi was lovely and memorable.

There was no hot water in the washroom and in the three-night stay, the Palace On Ganges could not address the issue and neither resolve. Kept telling they are looking into it, but unfortunately even after calling them up at least 20 times, they could not restore the hot water in the washroom which makes it even more terrible in the cold season. They did get a bucket of hot water on two occasions, but it is not what I paid for a bucket of hot water! The deal was to have running hot water in the washroom.

Great location. Staff is good and food is good too. There is no lift, so if you get a lower ground or 1st floor, it may be difficult. But seems they are constructing the same over the next year.

The Palace On Ganges offers a great view of the river ganga's bank. The ambiance is very soothing and in close proximity with kashinath temple. The buffet t offers a great variety of menu to pick from. Value for money

Heritage type Palace On Ganges nice location at ghat

Location of the Palace On Ganges is excellent. For cleanliness i would give Palace On Ganges 4/5. Staff is polite.

Small room with no view. Not from the restaurant as well as from roof top restaurant. Rooms are suffocated with no windows. Food is okay. But chef doesn't know the diff between milk, lassi, milkshake and canned juice. Limited option of food. Ghat is 5 min walk. Parking is poor as for whole day charges will cost around 500. Not friendly for senior citizen. No lift and the Palace On Ganges start from 1st floor with difficulties in climbing with steps.

The location of the Palace On Ganges is a big plus. It's right On the Assi ghat. You can attend morning programs at Assi ghat very conveniently. The rooms are cramped. Food quality is ok.

Hotel is located at a very convenient location next to Assi ghat and Bang opposite government car park where you can park your car and go around the city in auto rickshaw. Car park in not available at most places in the city and cops are quick to challan.

Location is very good. Services are also very good. Roof top restaurant is really very nice. Good food. We had very plea-sent stay here.

Service was poor. They don't stand on their words offered us buffet and charged ala carte. Food was good and stay was comfortable.

Hotel location is close to assi ghat where the ganga aarti can be witnessed. Rooms are excellent and food quality is superb for two days stay.
