Palace View

Palace view is located very close to the main market, with a lovely view of leh palace from the rooms and terrace. The hospitality was commendable, and mr rakesh helped us plan and execute our entire trip, while making sure we were safe and comfortable throughout. Mr irfan and the rest of the staff were also very helpful throughout, and took care of all our needs. The place is centrally heated and you get hot water even in the winters. There's a dining room and in-room dining available as well, so you can easily get meals, snacks, tea etc throughout the day.

From a safety perspective, there were masks, and sanitizers at the lobby.

A warm welcome headed with a comfortable and peaceful stay with the best hospitality and care. Traveling from +23 to 5 degree temperature, it seems difficult. But their support and hot tea with a home cooked food made it worth staying. Cozy evenings with a heater on, warm mornings, followed with the best itinerary. The staff was very nice, happy and always there for your help. Mr Muzambil (manager), Irfan (care taker), Basant (cook), Zakir (driver) and Chotu. They all did their job commendably well. Muzambil Bhai was always there with the complete knowledge of the local places, Irfan was fun to take his bike and get the ordered cake, Basant cooked the best momos (must try), Zakir drove us to the difficult roads, snowy mountains. Chotu was a nice support. Overall a must stay place in Leh.

Our stay at palace view Palace View for 3 nights was comfortable and we enjoyed the leh palace view from the balcony of the room. The location of the Palace View is 200 meters from leh market. Hard to locate using google maps when traveling by car or bike. Reach polo ground parking lot and you can see the Palace View at the far end. Polite staff and hot water in bathroom with a good view from balcony made it a decent stay. The rooms are located in a newly built block. Keep the phone number of property manager or supervisor handy as you need to call for room service for tea or water. Overall the stay was good for the price paid.

This is hands down the best budget Palace View near leh main market. You'll be within a 5 minute walk to the main market where you can find anything. And don't let the location fool you, you'll get one of the best views in the area overlooking the leh palace and also the snowy mountain range! luckily in fron of the Palace View there's empty places so you'll have a mostly unobstructed view! you'll get all the amenities you could ask for like hot water, heater, and good wifi. Surprisingly enough the rooms are pretty warm because of the design of the rooms and the position towards the sun!

The Palace View is super awesome and very cool with great views of the Leh palace and Shanti Stupa. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and they have done everything to make our stay comfortable. We felt like home while in Leh because of such wonderful staff of the Palace View. The rooms are big, airy and equipped with clean toilets and an attached bathroom with 24 hrs warm water. A special thanks to Mr. Rakesh Augustam, Mr. Vikram Sharma and Irfaan Bhai for making our holidays and stay comfortable and memorable one.

I have booked this property from reviews and decision was absolutely right, irfan was very helpful throughout the stay of 8 days, arranged a bike/car for travel, they will go out of the way to make your stay comfortable, will guide you for itenary as well, will arrange everything for your need. You can ask for any help and they will provide you a solution. Salim, wasim, rakesh are very helpful. Chef vasant is also prepares good food. A must visit guest house and near market and would definitely recommend this property.

The Palace View is very good for family, group or solo travellers. The rooms are cosy facing the leh palace. It also has a small restaurant. Though with a limited menu but the food quality, quantity and taste is very good. The will take care of all your permits and also arrange for bike, scooty or car rental. I would specially like to mention about saurav ji Palace View manager who took care of everything and saved us a lot of money. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

We hit the jackpot! this property has a fantastic location. Just 3-4 min walk to the leh main market. We stayed at a super delux room with beautiful views of the mountain. We're very pleased with the warm and delightful hospitality. Special thanks to mr. Saurav khatri for going above and beyond to take care of us and helping us with our itineraries. Overall, a must-stay if you're planning for your ladakh trip. Can't help but share a sneak peak from our room.

Location is next to the polo ground and 1 minute walk to main market.
Good Palace View and staff are very cooperative.

The location of the property is good, food was very good and reasonably priced. room was specious enough.

Only negative thing about this Palace View was the house keeping guy. He did not know the basic manners to not enter or peep in a room without knocking. It was hell irritating. Everything else about this Palace View was great.

While travel-ling to leh, do stay for one day and spend half a day in this place. Worth staying and relaxing. Nice place, good food and friendly staff.

The reception was good, very near to market. Food was good and economical. You might not get rooms with scenic beauty but it would not matter actually as you would be out the whole day. The stay was perfect considering all factors.

I have the best experience with this place as it wasn’t like Palace View but like home and every person was helpful though it may b with health food hygiene etc rakesh irfan salmon thank u so much for this wonderful stay. I would recommend it to all my friends and family travel-ling to leh.
