Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience

Stay here for a night with family. Nice boutique Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience. We were welcome nicely and the room was wow. Loved the size and decor of room. Enjoyed my morning tea and plunger coffee at the terrace facing pool. Yes they give one serving of beans coffee powder for your morning coffee. My dining experience was equally poor. I ordered bolt croissants sandwich with brie. I got a soggy breakfast size croissant and with cheese slice. On enquiry the bri was out of stock and the chef took the call expecting the guest not knowing the difference in cheese. This was disappointing. I order tiger prawns grilled, they were over cooked and chewy. I would suggest stay there for sure but don’t dine. They are many nice choices around.

We had a one night stay here and the reception staff were quite accommodating in terms of getting an extra bed for our son and all that. They also quickly arranged a cake for the dinner because it was his birthday! great customer service. The rooms and the rest of the infrastructure has this quaint old french quarters feel but the refurbishing has been done carefully with all modern amenities. The location of the Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience is also good with lots of things to do in walking distance. All in all, a great stay experience! and not to forget their restaurant in the 2nd floor where we had some amazing seafood dishes!

We checked in super exhausted & everything from how warm the reception/check-in was to the state of the room when we walked in was spot on. I will surely be returning, we stayed in the only room in the property that had a balcony. The only suggestion for improvement would be that the f&b staff could be a little more attentive, there was s bunch of foreign tourists during our stay, we somehow felt under-served comparatively, decided to eat out after that. Used the ayurvedic spa was pure bliss, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, was the first with cg h in general.

What a beautiful property and location is the key factor. Famous cafes & restaurents around in 200-700 meters range. Just walk down the street and you have all the access. Pomenade beach is 24/7 open and at a distance of 100 metrs from the Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience. Hotel staff is cordial & service is outstanding. Rooftop restaurent and swimming are key highlights. Go for delux room - it is very big and a big verandah is all for you

Located near rock beach. Surrounded by french style buildings. Ambiance inside the Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience is exceptional good. Staff in the Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience are courteous. Rooms are spacious and well maintained and very clean. Restaurant is located on 2nd in open space in good ambiance. Food is of top quality. They serve both south indian food as-well as western food. Overall best place to stay with family.

We loved every bit of our stay at this property which is an iconic place in pondicherry! rooms were huge, well kept and comfortable! staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Special mention to um a at reception for going out of the way and her recommendations! only thing we felt was the noise outside the Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience it’s on a crowded street!

The architecture of the property is beautiful, & maintained well. The limited rooms give a very intimate experience to the guest. Even though the the menu is limited, the quality of food & service is excellent. The Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience is ideally located to the various “tourist “ spots in puducherry.

It’s a beautiful property, the hospitality was very good. The location is just perfect. The pool is the cherry on the cake.

Amazing place ! lives up to the heritage tag. Very neat and clean and well maintained. The 2nd floor balcony gives a breathtaking view of the sunrise. Food is excellent and the people are very warm and caring.

Staff were wonderful. They were watchful, helpful and were attentive to all the small details that really make a Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience stay meaningful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Hotel is fabulous. However pondicherry as a whole has lost its charm. Too much crowd and dirty streets. We did not feel like getting out of the Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience. Right outside the Palais De Mahe - a CGH Earth Experience you will see jobless men ogling at women.

Great rooms great service and great food. The location is ideal near by the sea a and the lovely places to shop.

The location was fab, close to everything we needed, the staff was courteous, helped us plan our itinerary and gave some great recommendations and the breakfast was amazing!

A stay in authentic colonial style property in french quarters. It's more than 130 years property which is renovated and retains its charm. All amenities like ac, pool. Wifi and parking are available. There is good food and fully stocked bar. They made my son's birthday memorable.

Nice french style development, wonderful experience with very supportive staff. Food was also nice. Walking distance from rock beach.
