Palmgrove Lake Resort

The rooms were good. Deluxe rooms are value for money and more than enough. The service was good but not professional. Initially when i called inorder to confirm my booking, the person at the other end appeared less reassuring. Like, she had no way of knowing about the number of rooms booked, and the payment status. Rooms are really good. Deluxe rooms are more than enough the extra price for suite rooms are not justified. I would say, there is hardly any usable difference between suite rooms and deluxe rooms. Deluxe rooms are value for money. Restaurant service is slow. The complimentary breakfast was good, though we had only the option of idli, poori and bread. There was no chutney for idli. Restaurant service started with a 10 minutes delay from the promised time, and hence felt a bit unprofessional here. One would certainly expect more when one pays rs 7000 plus.

We had an excellent stay at palmgrove. Breathtaking view and mesmerising ambience. We stayed in a premium cottage and we could see the all kinds of boats - houseboats, motor boats and speed boats moving in the lake, sitting in the veranda of the cottage. Very supportive staff led by rinosh in the reception. Neat room and spotless bathroom. Food was tasty, but very basic/limited option. Rinosh arranged a shikara boat for a morning ride at a very reasonable rate and it was a magical and memorable trip. All in all 5 out of 5. Only regret is we could stay for only one night. Will go back soon for a relaxed and refreshing weekend. Purushothaman

We wanted to get away from the city noise and this spot was just ideal. The rooms are small and coz, we stayed in the garden view villa. They have bigger rooms with open bathrooms i heard. There is not much to do inside the resorts, probably one thing, they might need to improvise on, like a recreation room sort. The restaurant view to punnamada lake is amazing. You may opt out of the breakfast complimentary plan as there are many cafes in alleppey that you should try, borma, chilla cafe, catamarin, asado. Overall, it was a great experience staying here

We had a very comfortable stay at palm-grove resort. The resort is beautiful and located right on the backwaters. The resort is well maintained and the rooms are very clean. The owner and staff are very hospitable and kind. They also helped you arrange kayaking and backwater tours. The food is the best part of staying here. They have delicious food, cooked on order, so it's fresh. We really got the best of kerela cuisine at their restaurant. They also had multiple food options for complimentary breakfast. You can get cereals or idli or puri sabzi.

Palmgrove lake resort is very close to nature. The property is filled with arecanut, coconut and many more trees facing Punnamada lake. The owner is very friendly and made sure that our stay was comfortable. They also arrange vehicles if you need to roam around Alleppey and beach. A boat house or jetty can be arranged from the resort itself. Rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained. Wifi, AC, hot water are available. The in-house restaurant has a decent menu and the food is good. Definitely going back for a peaceful get away 😁

Location -location is good if you want to relax your mind, ambience of the resort would make you want to visit again. Food : restaurant service is very limited. Have to give order before 45 mins also for food at room they charge 15% extra. It would be better if they provide more safety and security. Coz the doors and windows were glass and covered with curtain. But the door upper portion is not covered. So anyone can easily peep into yor room. For bachelors the room is ok but for for family not sure how much secure

The room at palm-grove lake gave the feeling of british era having verandah, leisure room, bedroom, dressing r , toilet bathroom. The washbasin and washing area was in the open courtyard with flowers planted in it. In the verandah one can enjoy the morning and evening tea with view of the boathouse plying in the front lake. Garden having numerous trees of different varieties. Pond having flowers of lotus restaurant timings are followed strictly. Quality and taste of food served is nice.

We had a very pleasant stay for 2 days. Mr. Philip and his staffs were very friendly. The ambiance was splendid, it is located just on the sides of backwater and the very sight of watching the boats travelling on the backwaters from the resort were great and mainly there were no mosquito problem in the cottages. They helped us arranging us transportation for sightseeing, we hopped on to a shit are boat from the resort itself! Food was good with home made taste with our preferences.

Trees, birds, water, nature, & good food. What else. We need. Food at affordable price compared to other Palmgrove Lake Resorts. Only drawback is no female staff for single travelling ladies makes feel little insecure

It wz a great stay. . Great ambience, location, service. Everything wz perfect. Although we were not pretty satisfied with food. . Still food was also decent. . Overall. They stay wz perfect as we have heard. About kuttanad allpuzha. Shikkara ride. Specially the speed boat ride. Was. Exciting

Resort location is excellent but too much mosquitoes there. Staff is also very good. And food also excellent. Overall good property. Nop.

Overall good experience, it’s a calm and soothing place for vacation. My parents liked the place and it felt like home

The property is decent, though can be maintained better. Just beside backwaters so the view is pretty good.

If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax this is the place. Has an amazing view of the backwaters and the food is homely and delicious

Best part is that the food was delicious. Rest everything was up to the mark, you won't be disappointed.

Too much charges for early check-in rest was good. Staff service was great and good respect of privacy
