Pangong Delight Camps and Cottages

Very cold. Pillows were not very comfortable.

On arrival at the hotel they had no information, since the hotel had no information the food was not ready and we were travelling full board. The zips at the tents not working one of the staff on arrival was very rude. After a Long drive on a bad Road you need someone pleasant and welcoming. Altogether a bad experience.

Staff was good and the location of the Camp was great and beautiful. But there is electricity problem in the Pangong and in that area you cannot ask for more.

It was a disgusting experience, what you people wrote in facility it was false. Location did not match, food was horrible.

One suggestion to camp manager that bonfire should not be there as it creates nuisance for the other visitors coming with families. As bonfire was a place where some drunkards were creating nuisance by speaking obscene language loudly for the people residing in their tents instead of being mute spectator, camp manager could have stopped these nuisance activities. People coming with their families or coming as couple, be cautious before choosing this camp. So just because of this nuisance overall rating is 1/5.

It was good .. But they need to maintain the place. Improve food quality. I know its very difficult to provide facilities at such remote places. But, there are other places who serve good food and maintain the place much better

Very good camps. Good service. Staff was Co-operative. Just lake facing campus. Food was also very good. Bikers stay here. Not suitable for families due to extreme weather. Water is also available 24x7

Tented accommodation in excellent condition with hood backup services provided by the staff who are more than cooperative in catering to your requirements. Food is nice. Nothing much to complain about. Overall a wonderful stay with a good view of the lake from the camp site.

Nicely built spacious tents. Very good view of the lake. But electricity is provided only for 3 hours between 7-10pm. One must keep a torch. In the night. Temperature is between 0-2 and the drinking water is too cold. They must provide a thermos flask. Food was o. K. But Breakfast needs improvement. Overall good experience of staying in tents in such cold conditions. One must have woollen clothes/jacket to protect against strong winds.

Pangong is vey cold and isolated place. There was no electricity to keep you warm. Food was pathetic. In strong wind whirls there was no provision to keep you warm. Staying in a tent without electricity and heating was no less than a nightmare.

Very good location. Good service. Nicely built. Good food. Truly " eco" lodge. Very good view. Good stuff. But only veg food. Electricity only fr 4 hrs. Room very good. Bathroom very clean and well decorated. Stay here if you stay in nubra.

This camp is tooo costly and facilities are OK. We paid 4300 per day for this camp and expected a better service. No hot water and no power. Food is OK. On the whole Its not worth for money. If it comes in less budget, good to go.
