Undoubtly best place to stay closer to pangong lake. For the kind of remote location, resort offers everything from good hot meals, hot water to tap for select timings, 24 hrs electricity, 5 star equivalent plush linen and bedding, well appointed rooms. What else do you need? what makes this place more special is their humble n proactive staff ably led by resident manager mr balwant and passionate owner mr gyal. Go for premium lake facing cottages especially 101 - 107 if lucky to get one. Our room had carpeted floor, roof window for star gazing, ample light fixtures including charging points and even a hair dryer in bathroom! they dont have alakarte menu except for veg maggie but their breakfast and dinner buffet was good n tastie. Thanks to mm t for amazing deals and finding out hidden gems as usual.

Pros: Pangong Heritage Cottage & Camp rooms face the lake directly and we could walk just less 100 meters to the lake front. Hotel staff is well motivated and cater to needs and requests of guests all the time the manager manning the counter at the canteen even asked me to knock on his door in the night in case of any altitude related emergency which was comforting since it was minus temperature in early may when we stayed there, staff gave 2 hot water rubber bags and a thermos with hot drinking water to sip on, to all guests by knocking at their doors. We asked them for 3 additional blankets and they obliged without any grump. Cons: Pangong Heritage Cottage & Camps like this run on solar energy, so there will be lights out at 11pm. Location is good. No lunch available so if you are reaching there at lunch time, please have lunch at"shooting point" 2 kms before that. Dinner and breakfast was ok, don't expect vast menu at such a high altitude. within limitations they are trying hard to give best. Hot water is available between 6:30 to 7:30 (we visited on 11 july 2024). Service was excellent. Boys were running all the time from room to room. No intercom facility available. No mobile signals except off an on Jio (as told by workers there). Lake can be seen from all rooms and easily approachable on feet about 300 steps away. View is marvellous from Pangong Heritage Cottage & Camp. Once a lifetime experience. washroom was ok. Transparent sheet at roof allow you to see stars at night.

Rooms had hot water in washroom only during early hours in morning (7-9am) post that hot water was not available. No intercom in rooms (although they claim they provide. So for every order you have to rush to receptionist for order placement. Rooms sheds are not properly screw up so during windy conditions it sounds like roof may fall down. Rooms from inside are comfortable however view shown in the mm t website is not reflecting the true pictures. It only shows the first row of cottage which doesn’t have any hinderance on view of lake, however they have cottages in 2-3 layers behind the front cottages from which only view is back side of cottages in front of you. Again pictures doesn’t reflect reality of cottages that behind.

This is one of the best property for family stay i visited so far and in such a remote area of ladakh. Very kids friendly and all the staff members are very supportive. Main attraction of the resort is its lake access and resort has maintained it very well. Other properties at pangong lake doesn’t provide such a beautiful view of the lake along with the amazing mountains. Restaurant and room service is fast. We stayed in tents which has very good view of lake from the room itself. Food was also amazing. Rooms are neat and clean. Me and my friends are visiting to this property again this year as me and my family had a great stay last time.

We stayed at the luxury cottage - facing the lake. Worth every extra penny that we paid. View from the room is amazing, stargazing at night felt surreal and the cottage is beautifully decorated. Staff wad extremely kind and food options were decent - given the remote location. There is no wifi / data connectivity which makes the stay even more relaxed. Hot water is available for 2 hours in the morning but the staff will provide hot water for drinking if requested. I would love to go back if i get the chance.

The best part is their location - one can walk around lake even at midnight also, its the nearest proper resort to the pangong lake and view from the room is best compare to any cottage or camp available in pangong lake area. They have the beautiful skylight and the stars looks just stunning when all the lights are turned off at night (weather should be cleared. Their foods and services are as amazing as expected. One should book pangong heritage resort if you want to experience pangong lake at its best.

Pangong is a remote area so don’t go expecting luxury. Having said that we had a comfortable stay, good location. The staff is extremely helpful and food options are limited and they only have buffet system. The food is good, only north indian though. Hot water is available only for about half an hour a day which maybe a challenge because the water is almost always freezing cold. Also check the weather before going there it can get really cold and windy carry enough warm clothes.

Good location, very close to the lake. however property is dusty. No dedicated parking. Premium rooms facing the lake are good. bathroom was average. food is ok considering the place. helpful staff.

Loved the place. You can see pangong lake while sleeping on your bed. Even you go down and sit beside the lake. Balwant ji from reception was too good. I was bit worried as i was traveling with a kid but their service is exceptional. Thanks

Location and services are excellent. Staff is very cooperative and caring. Food quality is good. However, pure vegetarian. Suitable for families and solo travelers.

The overall stay was good. Everything was fine did not face any issue.

The cottage was comfortable. Food was average, could have been better. View of pangong ts o from the room was great and no other property is as close to the lake as this one.

Property was awesome only heating facilities are not up to the mark i found the property on make my trip and the manager mr balwant singh was fantastic person he will not say no to anything which can be available

Staying at pangong heritage resort was the best experience we had in ladakh. Definitely recommended and their premium cottages are just superb. Excellent service and food is toooo good. To our surprise, they provide fruits and juice also in the breakfast.

Excellent location, amenities & services, food is also good. I will definitely recommend this property.
