familyThe manager was kind though but it's not a well maintained property. Two big spiders and massive cockroaches in the room. The room was full of dust behind the dressing table which needed brooming. The linen for the beddings were dirty with marks. Don't look forward to the breakfast as you will be extremely disappointed. The staff is courteous no doubt but this is not a place to spend money.

Breakfast and service is good. No food preparation there oti than complimentary breakfast. Room cleaniness is not good, bathroom not clean. There red marks like blood in window curtains. The door has gap anyone can peek inside. Liked the location, surrounding and off-course the private boating. The staff were good. Considering the price and room quality for standard room ot was ok stay

It was nice stay. Resort is very good with free boating inside resort itself. Staffs are good. Only thing is food we have to order from outside but the restaurant they suggested was good

Pappy's Nest is a budget resort in a big farm with a limited number of rooms on the banks of a small river nestled in the forested land of Wayanad. Pappy's nest maintains the nature around the resort to look like forest continuation. Guests can enjoy relaxing vacation in an unpolluted environment. Our resort is just 600 metres from Edakkad junction on the Mananthavady Sulthan Bathery State Highway. Nearest town, Kenichira, is just 1 km away. The location of the resort is shown on our website and on travel sites. Most of the resorts are located at interior places away from the big towns/urban centres and that is very true about Wayanad. Wayanad is a place for nature loving people and Pappy’s Nest is a nature friendly resort. We have been operating this resort since 2010 and we have stated the main attractions of our resort in our website as well as in all online travel operators’ websites. Our guests have always appreciated that; please refer to the reviews received from numerous guests. Regarding safety and security, please note the following: (1) Guest with govt. approved identity cards are only checked in. (2) Resort area CCTV controlled as per police department requirements. (3) Our staff is staying in the resort staff accommodation. (4) Nearest residential property is within 25 metres and there are nearly 6 residences nearby. (5) There are 4 other resorts within 400 metres radius from our resort. Please check the google map for yourselves to verify. (6) Check in register is e-mailed to Kenichira Police Station every day when guests are checked in, which is mandatory. (7) For the last 10 years from its inception, no security issues reported from our resort. Despite all the above, you felt unsafe and we appreciate your decision.

Its a great place with beautiful surroundings. Had a pleasant and memorable stay. Staffs were amazing so kind. Loved the attitude. Highly recommended for families or friends. Boating and fishing were cherry on the cake kids loved a lot.

Peace in the middle of coffee estate

It was a peaceful stay, they have good arrangements. Food will be served on demand, we had puttu and chana curry for breakfast was awesome. It can be a bit more clean, considering the weather, hard to maintain everything. We had a very good overnight stay.

Peaceful stay

It was an overall good experience, away from city hustle in the mid of coffee estate, pretty peaceful but yeah isolated in the woods. Service staffs were really cooperative and served good coffee and tasty breakfast. Lake needs more maintenance and don't expect any tourist attractions nearby, at least you have to travel 21kms to get a peek of few counted attractions in Wayanad.
