Paradise Lagoon

We visited the place during peak off season 😁. We were the only guests in the resort. we were treated royally as we got all the attention. Location : The resort is in a beautiful location. it is surrounded by backwaters. It is very near the sea. We could literally hear waves. Place it in a remote place and it is hard to reach if you do not have your own vehicle. Very narrow but deacent road. There is ample parking space. Amenities : There is an infinity pool. You could get some amazing pics there. From one side you could get background with litter which would not be the case during peak season. There was a mention of other amenities which was just namesake, Table tennis and badminton are there but not quite in usable condition. There was boating which was super costly. There is a fishing deck. There is a provison for kayaking which was not available as it was off season. Not to forget the book collection they have witha wide range of books, for us that was a big plus. Restaurant: Food is good. Even though we were alone we got a lot of options to choose from. Staff was very courteous. Restaurant location as also very photogenic. Room : Room that we stayed in lacked some basic things that is expected of such a resort. It lacked that luxury touch. it was very very basic and have a large room for improvement. In general staff was very good and humble. They took the feedback given quite well and hope they do something about it.

Paradise Lagoon is a vacation resort perfectly located at the tip of the island. With its beautiful gardens, the rich green, the fountains and buildings and a nice clean pool it creates a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. In the the shade of the palm trees and with the fresh brize one does not feel the heat around. Hundreds of lights at night make the park even more beautiful. The rètaurant is good: Menue, taste and seating outside with great view. The property is well maintained rooms and patios and balconies are comfortable and well equipped as far es we can tell. We had rented the house boat which was unique and special. However, the boat would need some renovation, in particular in respect to the furniture. The boat is spacious but the room for rent is tiny as there is a second one. As a special surprise, a tour on the boat to Delta Point was included into the package. We enjoyed it a lot! The personal was great, helpful and responsive in any way. Unfortunately, as an effect of the tides trash and some animal remains are washed from the river to the shore around the boat. it would be good to remove it regularly as this is done each morning for the garden and walkways. The Paradise lagoon offers kayak and island tours and organizes car service. Despite the small deficits we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

The resort is at an excellent location on the bank of the backwaters and the a very beautiful and blissful feel you get when you look out the waterfront room. The property is a bit old and rooms show their age. Little maintenance is required to keep the feel inside the room. The door to the balcony cannot be closed and we had the fear at night what if someone enters from outside. But, the staff who came to attend our complaint gave us the confidence and we slept sound asleep. The infinity pool is the icing on the cake. But it's not maintained well and you can find pigeon poop and the surrounding area of the pool is also filled with crow and pigeon poop. The team should keep it clean. Got a lot of itching after spending in the water. The restaurant serves nice food, especially non-veg starters that are yummy. Morning breakfast is served in good quantity and they are tasty too. They have other activities like a speed boat ride which we took in the evening and it was a good experience. The rate is a bit high 2k for a 30mins ride. The staffs are very well behaved and always have a smile on their face. Overall, the stay was very wonderful and we would love to come back.

We stayed in paradise lagoon for 2 days and 2 night. I would stay was very pleasant. The resort has beautiful rooms some backwater facing some get a angled view from the verandah. Overall the ambience of the resort is so pleasant and blessed by scenic beauty. It's a perfect place to unplug yourself and relax. They had some water sports activities but most of them has to be bought separately it was all paid activities. As i didn't take up any activity i don't hv much to say on it. They had just one restaurant, though they offered quality food with less oil and spices the time taken for serving the order was quiet long. They took almost 45 to 60 mns for an order. The breakfast spread was also good and they had quiet some varieties. One minus was they were having very old melamine plates, they looked very much worn out n with scratches which us not at all dining worthy. I would advice the restaurant to go for ceramic plates and ss cutleries. And room service was little poor, we were not able to connect to them on l as our room ac had trouble, somehow we only had to fix it. Except for these we enjoyed our stay overall. Paradise Lagoon as the name suggests it's a real Paradise in Udupi district. Surrounded by the Serene Waters of Swarna River, the property has lot of Greenery, different flowering plants, beautiful pathways. Coming to the room we stayed in Premium and it was upto it's standard with all modern amenities. The staff right from the reception especially 'Akshay ' and Faiz are very cooperative and professional. The Riverside Restaurant provides Scenic view and sumptuous Food. The Breakfast Buffet is excellent. And the regular Menu has wide variety of dishes. Must mention Dheeraj, and his Teammates exceptional service. House keeping staff do a commendable job in keeping the rooms and the outer surroundings neat and clean. The Pool is Cool with Blue Tiles and maintained well. They have some water activities outsourced which is to be paid for. What more can one ask for in a Resort with So much of Peace and Happiness 😊

Hotel is located in the backwaters, and i must say, the natural surroundings are incredibly scenic. The view from the Paradise Lagoon is breathtaking, making it a tranquil retreat for nature enthusiasts. However, there is room for improvement. The cleanliness of the swimming pool left something to be desired. It's essential for a Paradise Lagoon in such a beautiful location to maintain a clean pool for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the breakfast experience could have been better managed. Many items on the breakfast menu were unavailable, and the wait for the staff to refill them was quite long, which can be frustrating for guests who are eager to start their day. Overall, the Paradise Lagoon offers a fantastic location and stunning views, but addressing the issues with the pool cleanliness and breakfast management would greatly enhance the guest experience.

I liked the overall experience of the stay here. The location is very beautiful, the decoration / theme of the resort is also quite nice. The food at the restaurant was also good, and you can enjoy the food while looking at the beautiful river delta. The only thing about the resort that i didn't like was the room. It was old, and modern amenities were retrofitted with little success. There was not enough light coming into the room, and the artificial lights were not enough. The room became extremely dark even with lights on at night. The flush in the toilet was not working. The doors were of low height and i kept bumping my head on them. The furniture seemed very old too. Not sure if all the rooms had these problems. Also, there was odd smell coming from the backwaters that spoiled the ambience. Sunrise in the backwaters was beautiful though.

Nice property away from city and crowded malpe beach. Good rooms, decent service, breakfast spread is nice, we loved the local variety - special mention of sweet nee r dosa. We stayed in water front rooms, they have nice back water view. The property is close to few unexplored beaches and delta point, can walk to nice sunset view points and not crowded. High - property location, good food, activities, swimming pool low - distant from city, only option to call auto if you don't drive here by your own. Restaurant is. Expensive considering udupi standard, and you don't have many choice around.

Beautiful place. Wonderful and courteous staff. Food was great. Nice surroundings to walk around. Swimming pool was a great addition.

The property is located in backwaters giving an excellent view and a pleasant atmosphere. The food is great. We are family and planned to stay for two nights and three days. Our original plan is to have a darshan of sri krishna on the day of checking in but the moment we entered we decided to enjoy stay and so did by postponing the darshan.

Property is as beautiful as it shows in picture. Rooms were clean. Atmosphere is serene and calm. Only downside was food. Breakfast spread was poor and has a room for improvement. Rest all was good.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Location is very beautiful and amazing. This is the perfect Paradise Lagoon for a weekend getaway in paradis logon udupi

Nice place to kids and family for 2 night’s stay

Excellent location amid backwater. Lots of greenery, birds chirping throughout bit mesmerising. Friendly folks at reception and mr tarun at cafeteria are very good.

It was good. Nice experience with the back waters resort. Food quality and serving quality was good. Delux rooms are awesome. Need to maintain bit more. But over all it's nice.

I stayed for one day in this resort and impressed with the hospitality given by the staff of paradise lagoon resort. From reception till restaurant staff is very helpful. The place is very beautiful as it’s around the back water and having nice scenic beauty. Overall i will highly recommend to stay in this resort.
