Parvati River Cottage- 1 km trek from Main Road

It was a duo trip with a childhood friend of mine and both of us enjoyed our staying experience at it's best with this property. One has to trek about 2. 5 kms through hilly forest in order to reach this property but when you see it you come to know the beauty of it. It's located right on the fiery river and their staffs named mukesh and samsher both of are just gems as they are super active. They are so funny that an evening will be spent at twinkling of an eye.

Unbeatable view of the river with plenty of places to explore around. Food is basic and it’s a bit far from the road, but that adds to the charm.

Parvati cottage was awesome. It’s kind of a small tracking when you come down an walk up to the main road. The view was wonderful from the window. Had a wonderful and awesome experience. Moreover, the fare was an affordable one.

I booked this place for 2 days but i quit after first stay and cancel-led 2nd day stay. The way to this cottage is like suicide point if u unbalanced then directly fell down in parvati river. I booked this place for calmness and good food but their food quality too poor in morning we found hair in our pratha 1 paneer pratha cost was rs. 70 in lunch we ordered chi-ken curry it was containing fly. There you have not ane other place to eat. Entire night we spent without food we felt like hostile. They do not inspect the place. I did not get my 2 day stay amount.

The stay is absolutely blissful. The care takers were not at all active and for anything if you ask to eat, the answer was no. We used to get the food that they are comfortable with preparing. Overall the service could have been much better. Really dissatisfied with the service received.

Service was so poor and distance was also more than 1km. At first they will come to receive but when u r supposed to leave they won't send anyone with u to carry bags and u have to all long trek along with luggage

So its not actual kasol its 5km before kasol place name jari and person taking care of this property shamsher takes care like family or friend for u. I had a tiring journey bcz of our bus got prblm but when we reached at the cottage it just fabulous. Its situated on banks of parvati river. You dont have to book any track bcz reaching to a property is itself a tracking exprnc thrgh a breathtaking view of pine forest. Shamsher bhaiya takes care of food and beverages by his own, u will get a nice food. If you are looking for peace from chaos yes you should visit this place. He is been a amazing person. I travel-led solo as girl it was so safe and secure. Thanks shams-her bhaiya for amazing experience.

How amazing is this place! words fall short to describe the feeling we had whole time. the constant roar of the Parvati river and good food to add to it. :)

This was the place i was actually looking for. Though it was 1 km by walk because of damaged road, nevertheless it was worth it. The only disappointment was the food, so we had to go out.

We were a group of 4 people, stayed in 2 riverview rooms for 2 days. I would say it was an amazing experience amid-st the nature. The parvati river was just beside us and one can enjoy the view while sitting in the balcony. The food was basic but delicious and our hosts shams-her and mukesh were always ready to help us out when we needed. The only difficulty was to reach the property by trekking through the forests for almost 45 mins. It was quite a task for us as we were not an experienced hiker, but once you reach it will be memorable experience. Regarding rooms, they are good with basic amenities. The geyser in one of the rooms was not working and we had to struggle with the chilled water. The don-gel signal was also very weak, so internet connection was poor. Apart from these, the place itself is a hidden gem where one would definitely enjoy and relax. I highly recommend this place for people who wants to spend a few days in the nature.

Planned this trip with my cousins , and it was one of the best stay in Himachal till now . Booked river view room and it was breathtakingly gorg . The caretaker bhaiya was so nice and warm . Had the best time in this beautiful property . Just be ready to take the adventurous trek 🙈 before u reach this here

The rooms were quite far from the main road and once you reach there, the rooms they provide will make you feel that the teen of 1.5 km or more is not worth it. Food is extremely costly with average taste. Staffs behaviour was good and cordial. Bathroom were not clean and early morning you won’t get water unless you wait till 12 o’clock.

I guess this is best location in kasol for people who wants to stay in isolation and also wants to stay near the natural beauties of mountains and river

Everything good. Staff boys shams-her and azy, very nice and makes excellent food but it was too costly as per location. Limited facilities. 8 out of 10. Well trained dogs for protection on the treking way. No unwanted disturbance. 30 rs. Water bottle which can cost u more. And 50rs tea was never worth it.

Property location is very awesome, you have to track 2km to reach the property that experience is very good. Food is average. They charge for water bottle
