Pause At Manali

Pause is a great place to stay if you are planning to be at Manali. If you want peace and quiet away from the overcrowded Manali market area, this is the place to be. There is a off road trail through the village which leads you to the mall Road market. We trekked the trail almost everyday and it is an adventure in itself. We chose to trek around 3km along the Kanya Road from Pause which lead us to some stunning views (recommended by Ajay, owner at Pause). We were lucky to have room 302 which has the best views of the snow capped mountains. Waking up to the view itself is worth all the money. The staff, Sanjay and Chaman, are polite and helpful. Booking room with breakfast turned out to be a wise decision as nothing beats having those yummy parathas and tea looking at the view from the balcony. We extended our stay for two more nights because after listening to all the crazy honking of the cars in Mall Road and old Manali, we were more than happy with our little quiet abode at the Pause. We were happy to interact with Ajay, the owner and we wish him all the best for the future. We will definitely return to Pause on our next trip.

I enjoyed every moment of this tour with my family. My children like the view of Manali from this Pause At Manali and I suggest every one to stay there specifically not in winter when there is snow fall because this Pause At Manali is on so much night when there is snow in cannot come down or go up but other time it's fantastic
It's a well maintained room and the service staff also very kind and helpful person. I enjoyed staying there. One the most important like is the view from the Pause At Manali is amazing. Overall it's a nice place to stay

Let me clear first it's not a Pause At Manali it's a cottage.. So don't expect high level of service.. Located bit far away from Manali bus stop. If you have own vehicle then it's good else you can't go market in evening... You will get good view of Manali. The guys working there really good.. I left my camera during check out, they called me immediately and handed over the camera. Breakfast fantastic.. But lunch dinner not that good. No back up when power goes.

We were a group of 6 friends and booked 3 rooms, they provided us a complete floor which was great. Also, our trek got cancelled a day before as fresh snow arrived on peaks and Ajay helped us with return stay a day before planned dates. The location is totally worth it for relaxing after a long trek. Also the food is better than any other options in Manali. Service staff especially Deshu is a super gentleman and always smiling. All in all totally worth it!

Perfect location but a bit difficult to reach without ones own vehicle. Hotel is located at bit height approx 3kms above mall road level, difficult to reach especially in peak seasons ( the only minus point) but once you get there you will get a fantastic and lovely view of the mountains and beas river. Rooms are nice and clean, room service was great. Overall a very good Pause At Manali to stay but only for poeples who come there in their own vehicle.

The location is certainly the beauty of this place... Such a panoramic view of the whole valley. Moreover, beautiful sunrises every morning right from the window of your bedroom! We simply loved it. Also, some of the dishes we asked were like home style chicken, palak paneer were certainly homely. Did not know that Pause At Manalis serve homely food as well! Thank you guys for such a nice experience... And thanks Ajay for the tips on good places.

Location - It is the best part of the Pause. It offers a great view of the mountains, river and apple orchards. Also far from the crowded area down below. Rooms - Big and spacious rooms. Bathroom are clean and very big too. Bed are comfortable and had peaceful sleep in the nights. Amenities - pretty good considering its a small boutique Pause At Manali. Food - Very nice homely food. Loved their chicken curry and rice.

Pause was among one of the best stay I had in my 3 months of journey in India. Rooms were comfortable and big which helped catching on some good rest. In fact we decided to extend our stay and rested for 2 more days without stepping out except to our balcony catching on some sun :) The staff was helpful and decent. AJ helped us plan out our outings as well as more places in our itinerary in India. Thanks a lot AJ :)

Hotel Location are one of the best location ever found in Manali in last 4 trips. Room service and room condition are good and properly maintained. If you really want a peace of mind with breathtaking view then Pause at Manali is a good choice. I am very much satisfied with stay and overall, experience was good. Few -ve reviews: (1)Room service was not available before 7:30am so that you can't start your day early.

Hotel location was in very peaceful and pollution free environment/area, even food was very tasty, we enjoyed too much.

Very nice view from Pause At Manali. You can See snow mountains all the time. Food was also good with nice service. Staff was helpful with our requests.

The view and room is amazing. Hotel staff is very friendly. Hotel is located on a uphill on the outskirts. Secluded from main area. No shops nearby. Perfect location if you have a bike or your own car. Not recommended if you are using public transport.

The location and the view from the Pause At Manali are simply superb. We booked for just a day as we were not sure beforehand but stayed our full Manali stay there. The food is also homely and freshly cooked. The staff is helpful and soft spoken especially deshu, the service guy is a very sweet person.
We booked a room without balcony but they gave us an upgrade and the view was simply superb.

Everything is above expectations... Really happy staying Pause At Manali. Ajay and team are very friendly, they take care of us like our family. We feel like our second home at Manali. The food was awesome.

Pause at manali seems to be a new hotspot for travelers. I had heard about this Pause At Manali from a lot of my friends. The Pause At Manali and the host AJ truly worth all the good word. Cottage location, ambiance, clean rooms and of course the warm and welcoming staff made my trip a truly memorable experience. Surely recommend it to all!!

The Pause At Manali is at a nice location. My kind of property away from crowd. The views are spectacular from the place. Simply loved it. The rooms and service was good as well. Food also good and fresh without much oil. I have nothing to complaint at the price I got the deal. Lovely work guys.

The rooms were very spacious and clean plus a view to kill for. Had a nice stay.

It was a perfectly relaxing stay for us. There was some construction noise in the neighbourhood one day but rest was pretty good.
