Pause By The Sea

I recently stayed here, and the best part was its prime beachfront location. The beach is quiet and clean and lifeguards are there throughout the day. The Pause By The Sea has 12 cottages, all of which are very beautiful and come with clean and attractive bathrooms. Having a clean, private beach right on the property is a fantastic feature. However, the lack of lighting on the beach in the evening is a notable issue. Adding some well-placed lights near the beach area would not only enhance the safety and security of guests but also create a more inviting atmosphere for evening beach activities. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. One highlight was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety. However, the options for other meals were quite limited, and on top of that, they were quite expensive. During my stay, we encountered issues with the non-functional speaker system and the coffee machine at the restaurant. Additionally, the limited operational hours for the bar (12:30 pm to 10 pm) and the restaurant (9 am to 9:30 pm) were quite restrictive. In a secluded and serene location like this, extending the operational hours of the kitchen and bar to accommodate guests with more flexibility would significantly enhance the overall experience. With some improvements and a wider range of dining options, it has the potential to become the best place to stay in morjim. It's a beautiful property with great potential.

The stay at pause by the sea was excellent. The pictures on makemytrip are accurate and the cottages are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. We were celebrating our anniversary and akash at the front desk even arranged a cake for us. The breakfast is also very good and the waiting staff and kitchen staff both are very accommodating. We did not use the pool as the beach is walking distance from the rooms. The housekeeping and cleaning staff does a good job. Everyday when we got back from the beach room and bathroom was cleaned. Thank you for a memorable stay and we will come back again.

Except the approach road leading to the place and the taxi mafia nearby, both of which are no fault of the property itself, our stay here was fabulous. You can walk on to the beach directly, the food was pretty good, the staff and their service was exceptional. Showed up with a birthday cake despite us not telling them about it being anyone's birthday. And even though it's on the main morjim beach, it's pretty quiet so you can get good sleep if you decide to tuck in relatively early.

The property is kept impeccably clean. The rooms are lovely. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The service is great. The beach on which the property is cut off from the shacks on either side so you have it usually to yourselves. Their restaurant is i doer renovation when we went bu the kitchen is functional and they obliged us with some off the me u food too. They have a nice pool for when it's to hot to get in the sea. Will definitely go back here.

The cottages are spacious and are tastefully furnished, kept very neat with big clean bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was trim but good nevertheless and the pool is nicely maintained. the hospitality is awesome and the restaurant serves fingerlicking food ! you can walk out on the beach from the property and its one of the quieter sections of the beach with shacks on either side in walkable distance. definitely recommend the stay 🙂

A small but aesthetically done up property right on the Morjim beach.The rooms are well done and good for 2 people.The washroom is really big and well maintained,and the best part is the balcony attached to every room.The beach is just 2 minutes from the room and there are beach beds and deck for one to laze on the beach.The restaurant has limited but tasty menu.Overall a beautiful resort and a must stay for sure

It takes a few seconds to walk to the beach, one of the best in goa. Need i say more? other than that, very friendly and obliging staff and a very cooperative owner. The entry road to the property is very narrow, so be warned if you are driving yourself. Other than that, our stay was excellent. If you need a leisurely beach vacation, you can’t go wrong with pause by the sea.

Justifying the name, it really makes you take a pause and relax, and it’s really just ‘by the sea’. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is courteous and polite. The breakfast buffet spread was scrumptious. Must visit! although, there could be varieties during lunch and dinner as well.

Close to the beach, clean property and brilliant staff, would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet peaceful stay

Property was very good excellent stay rooms and staff. But had a little problem with in room dinning restaurant didn’t give us in room dinning they didn’t have extra menu just had one. Food was good at the restaurant!

Location is excellent, right on the beach. We had a great time, only issue we encountered was ac, it seems like low voltage and the team had resolved it asap. Breakfast buffet should have been with more varieties, same menu for 3 days.

Very clean and hygienic. Small pool and small property of just 12 huts. But very well maintained. Best part is room and location to the beach. Attached to felix shack on turtle beach, which is very expensive for the food they have.

Pause by the sea was worth our time and money! the entire property was exceptionally clean and quiet, felt really relaxed! the location is grit too, right on the beach!

Mellow beach next to the resort. Awesome property maintenance. Only problem was the food and room service which was pathetic. North indian not served. Only 2-3 items in menu to choose from. Need to work on customer care and food variety.

Pause by sea has the most amazing beach property. Loc in north goa. If you are looking for pure beach experience. It's in morjim and also has a few very good restaurants within walking distance. Had the best of sea time.
