When we arrived at around 6 pm the room was not fully ready and the AC was not functioning. We had to wait for another one hour or so as people were working on the AC. Insect were entering the room through the door and window gaps. At around 7:45 am during taking bath I found that the bathroom water was very dirty and brownish giving me horrible experiences. Breakfast was served after 8:30 am and we had to wait for that. However breakfast food was good as well as the courtesy and the manner shown by the restaurant staff were good.

The check-in experience was horrible, we reached there before time, and instead of arranging an early check-in for us they took 45 mins over and above of the scheduled check-in time making us wait for over an hour. No responsibility from the hotel staff when we asked them about it. The room was also very badly maintained, poor smelling and overpriced for the quality of room. Only positives of the stay were the food and the view from the hotel. The ambience was good and food was great. Overall would have been a good experience without the mentioned issues.

The experience was truly memorable. Mukutmanipur itself is a hidden gem with its calm waters, lush greenery, and the majestic Kangsabati Dam, and this resort adds the perfect touch of comfort and hospitality to the trip. The resort is beautifully located near the lake and offers a serene atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The drive from Bankura was pleasant, and once I entered the property, the peaceful surroundings, manicured gardens, and lake views felt like a complete escape from city life. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a lovely view that made mornings extra refreshing. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was neat, and all basic amenities were provided. Wi-Fi connectivity was a bit weak, but honestly, being cut off from the digital world enhanced the relaxation. The in-house restaurant served fresh and delicious food. I especially enjoyed the local Bengali dishes—they were authentic and flavorful. Breakfast had a good spread, and meals were served promptly. The staff at Peerless Resort were polite, attentive, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service throughout was consistent. I particularly appreciated their assistance in planning my local sightseeing and making me feel comfortable throughout the stay. Considering the location, comfort, and hospitality, I felt the stay was reasonably priced. It is definitely one of the better options in Mukutmanipur if you’re looking for both comfort and a connection with nature.

Family stay at Mukutmanipur

Visited away from the weekend hustle to spend some quality time with family. The location by the beautiful Dam was very beautiful. The FnB staff service was very good specially Mr. Bibek and the other gentleman ( forgot his name ). They took great care of our food service and was attentive to everyone ( we were traveling with my old parents and also our children ). The room condition in the 4 bed room was not very good. The housekeeping service can be better. They did not clean the room properly and left used towels and cups in the room even after cleaning service. But overall we had a good stay. Food is highly overpriced but good.

Okay place, one of the few hotel options in the area.

The place itself is big with spacious rooms and lawns. We visited in August, food options at that time was limited but quality was good. Room service was good. Downside- No swimming pool. Much needed since it's a hot district. A 5 min drive to the dam. And one of the few good hotel options in the area.

Hospitality that is due for an upgrade

The property is set in a large tract of land which offers a great place to walk amongst the trees and enjoy nature . The views from the villa are amazing . However the property is desperate need of upgradation . The rooms and bathrooms feel very dingy and is desperate need for an upgrade. The food is amazing and all the staff is courteous and welcoming to all requests .

Stayed here 3N/4D.Location of the property is SIMPLY excellent;NO other property in the vicinity can even match up...well maintained and impressive but reaching is a bit problematic.... property owner needs to put up more sign/direction boards enroute.Food is just okay,staple stuff.... nothing remarkable....cooking medium is VERY GOOD....no stomach upsets👌....breakfast is minimal......more variety definitely expected....no sprouts😢.....one more juice,more variety of fruits and please, NOT ONLY burnt jalebis everyday for breakfast dessert!!😥(we stayed for 3 nights /4 days😥🤔). Restaurant staff are VERY cooperative ,friendly and helpful.... however it would be really nice if the front office lady could be a little more pleasant 🤗Smile please😃One has to remind the housekeeping staff for toiletries,tea/coffee sachets, accompaniments etc.....we did not have any in our room .Bedding and linen is REALLY VERY clean and room service is fast and good.It's advisable to go for the lake view rooms,the garden facing rooms are old,in bad shape, lacks ventilation and maintenance.Being located amidst greenery and jungles,be prepared to say HI to lots of insects.....keep the doors shut....the windows are netted.....surprisingly NO mosquitoes!!!! Overall a wonderful ,memorable and fond experience;would DEFINITELY like to visit again.Would love recommending Peerless Resorts to family and friends.An honest critic is the best friend.....hope the management takes the inputs in the right spirit and acts on them.

A weekend gateway resort

The resort was a nice sober experience. It's tucked deep inside the Kanshabati Dam and offers a perfect break from city hustle bustle. Clean rooms, well maintained lawns, homely food, warm hospitality.. and (if you are going in season) lots of varieties of mangoes to taste, no cost at all 😃. It's nothing extravagant, but it'll also not let you down anywhere. The Lakeview rooms are way better value for money than garden view ones.

The resort was good. The location was awesome and the views breathtaking. The staff was polite. The quality of food was average and the rates did not justify the quality. Pre-check-in checks need to be run to ensure required amenities are provided before guests check in.

This resort is located just near the dam and is visible if you manage to book a lake view room. Rooms are specious but there is scope of improvement with regard to cleanliness. Size of bathroom is not too large. Good quality is reasonably good. Breakfast has limited spread unlike other Peerless group of hotels. Property is beautiful and nicely maintained. Check out time of 10 am is too early though we were allowed to stay till 11 am. Overall good experience.
