Not good very bad experience Bad experience, very bad, not a good location , too far from sonamarg tourist spot,

My stay at this hotel was far from pleasant. The hotel manager was rude and unhelpful, making the experience frustrating. The food was terrible, lacking both quality and taste. Overall, the service and hospitality did not meet expectations. Would not recommend staying here.

Place was good but there was no one at reception in the evening when we reached. We had to shout for around 5 minutes then only someone came. Even in morning I kept on asking for hotel boy even called him but no one came for around 3 hrs. Chicken we had ordered in dinner was stale and not at all edible. When asked, the manager told us that other guests didn't complain.

Hospitality was excellent staff was very polite & helpful, if chances occur would love to stay there again & again.

Booked family room in this hotel but it was just a room with two double bed. It's unfair to call this a hotel, there is no room service, no reception and even food at the restaurant is pathetic, even the location is not very good compared to the near glacier. Don't have many options near by this hotel, even staff are rude and not cooperative. I booked with MMT discount rate. Thus, not very happy experienced.

The bathroom has an open window. Risky thing.

Location was far away from City center and no near by market so be aware before booking. Food and tea is good but very high price. No reception at hotel so for every need you have to step down and ask.

Rooms are too small to be called as room, though hotel exterior is good nothing much to be said about room, food is costly and tastes average. Could be used as pit stop but definitely not worth the price.

They don't have any reception to greet you. What else could you expect. No room service number. Have to come down for every single thing.

I am glad Albahar came up in our search on company. The hotel was about 8/9 kms before the main Sonamarg/Thajiwas glacier and opposite a River stream. There is forest area across the River over a bridge and the place is actually quiet and secluded, away from the busy street at Sonamarg. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The place is managed by two brothers and I had an amazing conversation with the both of them when I reached the place. The food that they served was also great. I would definitely be staying at this place again when visit Kashmir.

Albahar Hotel has to exceed my expectation, the staff was friendly and helpful. Even with the packed Hotel, my experience was great. 5/5 would recommend if staying in Sonmarg.

Excellent service from the Hotel team.

I had reached Kangan from Srinagar when certain people told me that the Road was closed. I was the only one who had this problem on that day I think. So if someone else used my booking they must have purposefully stopped me. Please investigate. I would like to get a refund.
