Overall experience in Batra Hotel was fantastic. Hardeep Kaur and other reception staff is very co-operative and took initiative to help the guest, to guide them properly. Danish, Tanvir, Imtiyaz, Nazir and other staff members were also good. Overall staff behavior and service is excellent. Whenever we cum to Shrinagar in future our first preference will be Batra and Batra only, and same we will be recommended to our friends as well as whoever reading this message. Its really value for money and last but not the least, kashmir people are very nice, honest and hardworking. Hope our center Govt. Took initiative for uplift tent of tourism, transportation and other infrastructure which can generate trust in there mind for Modi government. Special message to owner kindly take care of your precious employees, they will help you to build the chain of Batra group of Batra Hotels in entire kashmir.

We stayed at batra Batra Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. The property is ideally located. Walking distance to dal lake. Lal chowk bazaar also known as residency road market is 2. 5 km. Food is vegetarian with a large menu. Excellent preparation. Buffet breakfast spread is good but it can be better if a few dishes can be added. Rooms are good. Only problem is in the bathroom. There is no mat outside the shower cubicle and on the bathroom entrance. We had to request for both as the rooms tend to get dirty and wet. Hotel management should take immediate measures and ensure that the barroom has a towel mat outside the shower cubicle and at the entry of the bathroom too. Room service is prompt and impeccable. Overall an exciting experience. Will visit again in the month of july, if all goes as planned. In short, a great stay at the property.

I stayed in this Batra Hotel in the first week of october for 3 nights with family. Overall experience at the Batra Hotel was great. Excellent location near to the dal lake, busy street in front, a few good eating joints like krishna vegetarian restaurant in front of the Batra Hotel. Hotel itself is purely vegetarian. Food was awesome, - very tasty. Breakfast was also really good - had decent variety and also very tasty. Hotel staff in general (one boy, nadeem was very sweet and a very much family person) were very cooperative and all were truly good people with humane touch and had friendly attitude. Rooms were decent. You will feel safe and at home there (though i felt safe everywhere in kashmir. Five stars for the stay

I have stayed in this Hotel multiple times. Because of its veg food. It is veg only restaurant NIRAMISH. Rooms are clean and spacious. Location of Hotel is great near to Dal Lake. Free of chaos. They provide Airport pickup and drop also at reasonable prices. A small gym is also there in this Hotel which needs upgrade. Now a days food quality has also deteriorated. Last year it was great or you can say that best in Valley but now it is good only. Maybe it is effect of recent happenings in the Valley. But still I will prefer same Hotel for my next visit. Staff is courteous. Room service is good. Overall still best budget Hotel Around.

Room- spacious, heated, heated bed food- amazing cab- if you are booking cab through Batra Hotel, please discuss in detail beforehand what's included and what's not. We had a bad experience with the driver javed who we booked through Batra Hotel. His behaviour was bad. He wanted to drop at tanmarg after charging for gulmarg. He also forced us to hire a guide in gulmarg. If you are hiring cab through Batra Hotel, don't take javed and discuss everything beforehand about the trip. Hotel cabs are a little expensive than local cab companies. Thats your preference.

I stayed in this Batra Hotel for 4 nights and overall stay was good. Food quality is good but breakfast spread is a bit monotonous. Room service can at times be too slow and they need reminders. Average cleanliness. Room had a lot of old furniture and it needs renovation. Game room was closed due to maintenance, looking at it, it seemed closed forever. Staff was courteous and friendly and helped us with baby food. Location is top notch, you can easily hire auto, also lot of veg restaurants on walking distance.

This Batra Hotel is located at walking distance from dal lake. Quite a lively place with a number of veg restaurants and Cafe nearby. There are few shops for shopping within reasonable price. Autos are also available for nearby hangout. The ambience inside is very good, rooms are well maintained and spacious. However the restaurant is costly and buffet breakfast was quite messy. Bathrooms are spacious but do take care not to slip on the wet floor.

The Batra Hotel is at very prime and safe location. Many vegetarian restaurant just opposite the Batra Hotel. Rooms are spacious. But the charges are a bit high. Overall a good stay. The manager was quite co operative. At first they wanted us to wait at check in time. We were already 2 hrs late but they did not have any room empty. After requesting many times we were given a room.

Good Batra Hotel stay, nice team. Food was good. Most recommended.

Room are good. We are promoted to suits, and room size were really huge. Location is close to dal lake, auto will charge rs 100 till dal lake to ghat 10a. Shikara for 1 hour costed us 1000. Room service is quick. Dine-in is expensive. Photos actual is different, but still moderate level. Overall a comfortable stay.

The Hotel is at a very good location. In the middle of City. It's a pure vegetarian Hotel. Rooms are good and staff is also very friendly

Two meals provided by Batra Hotel are tasty and hygienic, however Batra Hotel is not very clean and tidy and requires some upgradation

It was fantastic holiday. Weather was awesome and so were the people of kashmir. Traveled to Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and did local sightseeing also. Did shopping from polo market locally. Will come back again kashmir is heaven and safe place to travel.
