Cossimbazar Palace of the Roys (Rajbari)

I had visited the property with my wife and elderly parents. I was worried whether my parents would be able to walk around and reach the rooms safely. I was however pleasantly surprised at such a warm reception and cordial behavior of the staff. They made every arrangement possible to ensure that my parents did not face any inconvenience. The property itself is very well maintained. The rooms remind you of bengal' s ancient heritage. The food was excellent - as good as home cooked. The property is surrounded by a plush garden and a pond. The cute little ducks at the premises enhance the beauty.

It's a great experience.location is very good . food was good all over experience was awsom.The property owner was very nice and humble. He personally took care of his guests. He told us about the history of the palace and personally showed us around the entire palace. All the staff were very caring. The food was also good. property,food , amenities, service, location all good 👍

Stay was great! location is good. Room was good and spacious. Food taste was great, however restaurant manager manas is a bit grumpy, he needs to smile more and be friendly. Other stuffs was very polite and helpfull, special mention sunny, prosenjit. Thanks all the stuff for a great stay. Looking forward to visit during durga puja someday.

A very good experience. Ambience is awesome. Staff behaviour very good. Only negative side is quality of food - can be rated as 3. 5 if one wants to visit murshidabad, stay here & embrace it's heritage & explore other historical sites visit as a traveler not as a tourist.

Very comfortable rooms even upgraded to bigger two bedroom at no extra cost food very reasonable complimentary breakfast and evening programs very enjoyable most importantly king and son very down to earth participants in puja ghat from gang-es etc

Stayed for 1 night with school friends. Place was beautiful. Wish we could have spent one more day. Prosenjit Babu was especially helpful and courteous. Food was good but could have been better!

Majestic experience. Courteous staff makes you feel at home. Good immersion into the lives of royalty during the raj.

We expected more hospitality from their end. Their must be some provision to explore the history of the palace like some kind of guided tour around the palace. Overall quality of the food was excellent.

Very courteous staff. Homely. Property is grand, the rooms and furniture take you back to the days of how the elites t of bengal durin the raj lived. Worthwhile immersive experience.

I would rate my stay at the property at a very high level. It is a heritage property with superb service. Food too was delicious. I would highly recommend this to travelers

The rooms are nice though some things need to be kept in mind, esp the position of the television and there is no charging point near the bed. This is about room no. 6
