1. Not on beach but good swimming pool 2. Approx 2. 7 kms from radhanagar beach (closest beach. 3. Ambience is good but i felt it over rated as far as the price is concerned. 4. Located in a forest type locality. 5. Opt for high floor (recommended. 6. Hire scooty as it is far away from the main market and most of the visiting places like kala pathar beach, jetty & scuba diving operators. 7. Last but most important- it’s wrongly written that the property is 270 mtrs away from elephant beach. Actually the property is 400 mtrs from elephant beach trekking point, from this start point you may hire a guide or go by your self ( my recommendation is explore the reserve forest without guide. It will take 45 mins to trek approx 2 kms to the elephant beach. 8. Good staff behaviour

The aura created by the De Foret is really good. It feels like between a forest. Food is ok. Though they charge like a 3star De Foret, taste doesn’t match up. They are too stringent on rules even the basic ones. I had requested to flip one days breakfast with dinner, which they refused completely despite repeated requests, though the same have been accommodated by different De Forets in the past. Be careful before ordering from menu. There is discrepancy between description and what comes. Stuffed chicken part of main course felt like a starter but the brownie was really good. Arrabeita pasta ordered felt like a south indian pasta. Overall it was a nice experience, basis my research and walk in locality maybe one of those in top echelons.

The stay was quite good. However, the resort did not have too many guests and given it’s a little far away from the hustle and bustle of the island, the food options were limited. Whatever was available was tasty though but quite pricey for the quantity. We paid 400rs for a bowl of french fries which shouldn’t cost such a premium! the stay itself was good, the room was very comfortable although could have been better lit. The bathroom was very spacious and modern, no complaints. All the staff were very pleasant and prompt in their service. All our requests were promptly attended to. Overall a very peaceful experience away from the hustle and bustle of a typical beach property. Very quiet and relaxed stay. Not crowded with people at all.

The property is located at a quiet place near radhanagar beach. You can rent a two wheeler which will make sunset visits to radhanagar beach a daily activity. Considering the well maintained roads, you can easily access the other beaches as well without any hassle. The rooms are very spacious and very well maintained. You would need to pay almost the same amount for half the size of the room if you are staying near jetty area, which would be pointless as all the points are easily accessible from his place. The staff is very well behaved and extremely professional. The ambience of the rooms and the whole property is very nice giving it a cozy and warm and at the same time very exotic look.

The room is very spacious with wooden furnitures, that can easily fit an extra mattress. There's a sitting space as well and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. We all enjoyed the peace and calm of the resort nested amid-st the jungle, with sight of different kinds of birds. Nature lovers would love this place. Swimming pool is clean. The housekeeping needed to be requested to change sheets etc. But their service is good. The food quality at the restaurant is good but slightly overpriced. Breakfast options are modest. Overall, a great stay and i recommend all to visit, radhanagar beach is about a distance of 2 kms, so the need for transport needs to be thought through.

Located within a lush greenery area ear radhanagar beach, this place is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the nature as well. Friendly and helpful receptionist and staff. Everything about the De Foret was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had our breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pool was amazing. Wifi didn’t work well at all and also accessibility to transportation is very less here. Ms sweet y took great care for us at the restaurant and she is such a sweet human being. God bless her always. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient.

We switched between two rooms. Although the rooms were beautiful and the staff were polite in their conversations, we faced a small hiccup. We found a cockroach on our bed in the first room. Also, the food served for breakfast and dinner was of average taste. The dinner spread was very lean; something as trivial as a non-veg soup was missing. But the staff in the restaurant were very jolly and friendly. We loved the conversations that we had with them during our stay. Overall, we liked the place due to its infrastructure and the staff but room cleanliness and food options can be improved. Don't have any

The experience was really good! the hospitality was really amazing. They really want to and actually take care of your needs the best they can. The only thing they could have done better was the quality of breakfast; could have been much better.

De fore t is a very good option for stay at havlock, quite close to the radhanagar beach. Location, property and ambience is awesome but it could have been better with good service experience to their customers which was missing.

Location is good. It gives proper forest feel. Food was also ok. Service is good. The one thing i didnt like about the service is that that they are very adamant about check-in. They will not give check in before 12 o'clock even if the rooms are available and ready.

Hi. We stayed in de foret on 14th december. Nice location in the middle of forest. Near by around 2. 5 km to radhanagar beach. Staff was polite. Room was spacious and clean. Food quality was good and it is delicious. Overall we spent a great time here.
