Essence of Nature

Location and the rooms were perfect and spacious. The Road to the property is very rough to be driven upon, you have to pass that stretch for around 4 km. After reaching the location we ordered snacks. However, food served to us was uncooked and the quantity as compared to the price was not enough. The services were so delayed that we even had to wait for 2 hours just to get an umbrella. The food on their menu is so expensive that you have to think twice before ordering anything. I guess they have to work on their food portions with the quality as well as quantity

The resort is extremely beautiful and well maintained. Awesome service and wonderful location. All staffs are cooperative and well mannered. Last 3 km road to resort was totally damaged. Once you reach over there you don't feel like coming back. We will visit soon again.

It was good but hotel was located at the top and the roads were extremely in bad condition but the hotel service as well as its infrastructure is excellent

It might seem strange to some fellows, but nothing so exciting at this property which could attract you towards itself through a terrible road experience. You travel a lot and far from Ranikhet to this property and nothing is there to make you glad. Property itself is OK, staff is cooperative but rooms are smaller according to cost. Food is average as you can't expect much at such height, tea is horrible in taste, sorry fellows but I am tea expert). Again mentioning that property was OK and staff were very cooperative. You can travel to them if somebody has paid your stay or your company has organised a refreshment get together for you. That's it.

Approach Road to the resort from main railway for 3 km is non existent and extremely difficult and dangerous with rocks and boulders strewn over narrow much a Road. Otherwise stay at resort is comfortable and food is good. Going out from resort is difficult and will be forced to stay in resort for the period Of stay.

Regretfully approach road to the property was very unsafe. One of MakeMyTrip member should verify this before promoting this facility to other Guests. Understand From staff that situation is beyond their control as road work is under jurisdiction of PWD. Six years have since construction of property. Hotel management should take this strongly with local MLA and minister of the state. MakeMyTrip team to reconsider the risks involved and review the unsafe approach.

Awesome service and wonder location. Difficult terrain to reach but the hospitality of all members make each effort and stay worth. Manager of property make sure feel at home. Great to meet him and all staff members. Will visit soon again.

I really liked the beautiful ambiance of this hotel. Must visit place. So much peace. Really essence of nature you can feel here. Loved my pleasant stay. Though little road is difficult but it will lead you to a beautiful destination. You will also get a delicious food. Must visit. Worth visiting here.

Road to resort was completely broken and damaged our car and everything was too expensive.

The food being very expensive was not at all delicious. Even the quantity was less.

The resort is extremely beautiful and well maintained. Room in which I stayed is luxurious and is equipped with all modern amenities. Reaching to the resort in itself is a wonderful experience, last 2. 5 Kms is total off-road .. Food is delicious. Thanks to the wonderful staff, everyone is so co-operative and very responsive. Also, I had extended my stay to enjoy lovely weather, food and relax

Need improvement in food quality. Hotel location is too interior, it's time taking to search for hotel all most half of our day past in searching hotel. Buffet was not arranged first day I although it was in package.

The real experience of nature at its high. One should visit this place at least once so that nature can be embraced with its full swing. Though it is a bit far but once you reach over there, you don't feel like coming back.

Cons are I booked it through MMT, we a trip to Ranikhet and top hotels in Ranikhet on MMT comes essence of nature but essence of nature is 40 kms away from Ranikhet and between ramnagar and Ranikhet. Don't know who is to be blamed MMT or hotel management for putting Ranikhet in hotel address. Food is okay I would have to say on the very first day there was a bug in Dal makhni and hotel staff had no clue on what to answer us.

Let me start by pros which are very less so it won't take long. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, hotel OK these are the best pros I can think of. But essence of nature is nowhere near Ranikhet it is 40 kms away from Ranikhet and between ramnagar and Ranikhet.
