Stay details: 1 night with family (kids + parents) Positives: Check-in timing: Check-in was mentioned as 2 PM, which was inconvenient for overnight travelers arriving in the morning. Early check-in was eventually allowed. The owner provided phone numbers of auto rickshaw for local travel. Also told us about the nearby hotels. Areas of improvement / Issues faced: Very old property: The building is 50 years old poorly maintained surrounding, Building had visible wear and tear. Location mismatch: The property location shown on the MMT website was different from its actual location. Misleading listing: The property was listed as a 2 BHK. In reality, we got 2 bedrooms and a common living hall, but no kitchen. Cleanliness concerns: Owner claimed the room was cleaned, but the carpet on the floor was very dusty. Bedsheets were clean. Bathrooms and toilets were clean too. Missing amenities: Electric kettle was promised but not provided. Unusable bed: One bedroom had a bed that was unusable due to water leakage. Leaking roof: The roof leaked during rain at night.1 bedroom was unusable Caretaker unavailability: The caretaker stayed in Hospet (10+ km away). When we reported the leaking roof at 8 PM, he refused to come and instead politely asked us to find another place. We were not in position to change hotel at night, somehow managed in 1 bed room. No nearby food options: No restaurants or food hotels within 0.5 km of the property. Overall experience: Very old and poorly maintained property with misleading listing, missing amenities, no nearby food options, and zero emergency support. Not recommended for families
