The room we have stayed was very homely and cleanly maintained ... Murali sir was very helpful to guide the places and he arranged the things when my wife not feeling well. Nice stay, peaceful area and reasonable price. We got comfortable and spacious room. At the end of your vacation you would definitely miss "Karthik Residency". Recommended place to stay in Pondicherry. Thank you

The hosts are lovely. The place is very close to serenity beach. [Almost walk able]. A decent room .. But loved every second staying here. Good for female/solo travelers. Helps if you are travelling by car or rent a moped. Would recommend this place solely for the hosts. They are amazing. They can deliver the food but do not cook there. Parking available for 2/4 wheeler.

The staff running it were super nice and the room was very large! Very close to the beach and right off the main road. The price was a little high, but I suspect that might be because it was a holiday weekend. The downside: the bathroom. There's a geyser, but hot water only came from the bottom faucets, not the shower head, and the toilet continuously dripped water.

Recommended to have a better restaurant nearby.
The only thing that the karthik residency lack was the restaurant. We have to travel about 5 to 6 kms to find good restaurants. As this is in the residential area, the access to the other tourist places were quite far. Overall the environment was good.

The rooms were very spacious.. Service of staff needs to improve.. Serenity beach is very close but other tourist places are beyond 5km.. Problem of food is there as there is no restaurant in the immediate neighborhood.. However you can enjoy in the balcony with cool winds and conversations with your friends and family members. ..
