Lillys Valley Resort

My wife and I stayed at the resort along with our pet dog Leo for a week 18th Aug 2019 to 24th Aug 2019. Right from the time, we checked in we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The managing staff Daniel/ Ruben/ Sethu along with the team of staff and boys were really cordial, obliging and adorable. Room was neat, spacious and clean sprawling garden was ideal for our pet dog. Absence of stray dogs was another boon. The food too was awesome. Thank you management, executive and working staff for making our stay enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely come again for a longer stay.

The most striking thing about lilly's valley is its location and well maintained surroundings. Lush greenery along with numerous flowers make this a perfect getaway from city life. Rooms are good and have hot water available throughout the day. Breakfast options are also decent though mostly comprise of South Indian fare. It is walk-able distance to Kodai lake. They also provide reasonably prices cabs for local sightseeing. Reception and other staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone and will come back next time.

Stay at Lillys Valley Resort was memorable. Room was good and clean, well maintained. View from the resort is very limited, but not a problem if you are not spending dull day in the resort. Good hospitality from the staff. Some delay in room service. Felt like they are not equipped for weekend rush. There is a kitchen and dining area, but no running restaurant. Food made to order. Taste and quality is good, at reasonable cost. Camp fire only on alternate days (that's what we were told when we enquirer to the staff). Overall good enjoyable stay.

The location of the resort is very good, calm ambiance. We got a room with very good view of the valley. If you want to relax by enjoying the nature this resort is a good choice. If you plan to stay in resort for the day we need to inform them for lunch else the options are very limited. Dinner options are also limited but taste is good. The main problem we faced is with hot water, has to wait for 15 minutes to get some and without that it was freezing. Overall a nice experience which satisfied our expectation.

Property location is good for adults and children and not recommended for senior citizens and those who have knee pain. Food is ok. But if you prefer to take dinner with them they ask you to place the order before 6pm. Problem is you can't define how much you eat. In our case we said we may need 7 to 10 dosa and they noted 10 dosa. Idly we may need 6 to 10 idly and they noted 10 idly and bring all to you. So we wasted 3 idly and 3 dosa. So plan the count exactly, so that you wont waste more.

I was surprised to know that the Resort was over three decades old. The cottages were more like a cabin with wooden floorings wooden walls I just loved the ambiance service was excellent and the staff was always energetic. I want to appreciate Kumar who was very much proactive and energetic food. Daniel surprised us during checkout by gifting us chocolates. Food was good I wish they could schedule the breakfast a little early 8 am. In the morning would be fine. Overall wonderful experience.

Location of the property is slightly difficult for people who don't have their own transport. Access to the City is difficult. The food served at the Resort was good. We had breakfast and dinner on both the days we stayed. There was not much variety but the quality of food, mainly South indian, was very good and tasted like home made food. The service aspect can be improved, especially over the Weekend when lot of tourists visit a place like Kodaikanal. Value for money.

Hotel is located in a great location with a nice view. Rooms were neat and clean. However, we felt it was a little bit overpriced for the facilities they offer. Dinner plans should be communicated to the Lillys Valley Resort at least by 5:30 in the evening which is too early for group travellers. Taste of the food wasn't too great but was just decent. However breakfast, though options were limited, was better and tasted like home cooked food. Overall nice experience.

Hotel ambience and location is good. Although it's 2km away from town center. Food was excellent, nice homely food. We didn't face any issues in the Lillys Valley Resort. Only concern we faced was that toilet was ill stinking, though it was clean.

It was a great stay except for the fact that the Lillys Valley Resort does not have a full fledged restaurant.

It was an amazing weather and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We stayed for 2 days and had lots of fun. Campfire was very good. Food was tasty and nice.

Hotel was good to stay as family. Room interior was good. I am recommended to stay here as family or group. Breakfast was good & Dinner was average. The garden around the Lillys Valley Resort looks good. Without any expectation the gardener are helpful in manner like providing the plants, fruits from garden. The place was surrounded by greenery. Fresh air.

Very good place for families with good facilities.

It's a family trip with 3 kids and one below 3 years. We booked for 2 deluxe rooms however we got 3 bedroom cottage. The cottage was very compact but kids liked it. Food and service met our expectation. And the way to resort is around 2.5 km from lake. Only negative thing I would like to mention is way to our cottage from reception was not good.

I like the service they provide. They will arrange local sight seeing and other transportation if you tell before. Service is very fast. Staff is very courtesy and warm people. Good with spending with family in the resort. Had pleasant stay. Food is good. Location is good in the Kodaikanal.
