so far so good. the property is good. just like staying in our own home. but the staff didn't give us one extra minute to check out. i asked them to give us extra 30 minutes before check out so that we can have a walk outside the beautiful Kolkata Entellay market. but the staff ferociously and rudely refused our request and asked us to check out and put our bags outside of the room and go to walk. we did like that. that is totally unacceptable and unethical. in some Shaw Guest House Kolkatas they give us atleast one hour to check out. they have to listen and relax it a bit and respect it's customers. otherwise it's a good family Shaw Guest House Kolkata. the room attendants are good. they are not there always. they come in the morning hours only. but ok.

So i stayed in a single adult ac room for 3 nights. The room doesn't have an attached bathroom. You are provided your own private bathroom (you can lock the bathroom after use and keep the key with you) outside your room in the verandah. Let's review. Pros: complete privacy in your room, geyser available, overall cleanliness is very well maintained cons (need to improve) poor quality of the towel, tv remote not working properly, no provision for hanging clothes final comments: overpriced for the facilities offered; need to show more hospitality to guests; may not seem romantic for couples; good stay for solo travelers. Rating 4/5

Average guest house. We had a good and comfortable experienced with family. And the washroom was so clean. But there wasn't any windows for outside view or getting fresh air from out and the blanket was looking untidy but not bad. And don't order food from guest room's menu card cause the food was not good & also not tasty go outside for it. But yeah you can check in this Shaw Guest House Kolkata if you want average Shaw Guest House Kolkata room with family.
