Travelers Hostel | 5min From Guwahati Railway Station

I chose this due to its proximity to the railway station and at a walking distance to other bazaars and the river front. The hostel has very basic facilities but the cleanliness and hygiene can definitely be improved. To their credit, I saw them mop the floors and clean the washrooms and they try their best to keep it clean. The room in which I stayed had stained walls too and reeked of cigarettes. There is no hot water in the bathrooms. They have a small kitchen-cum-pantry with a fridge, utensils and cutlery and a moderate-sized dining room. RO drinking water is kept in many places and is mostly always full. As already mentioned, the entrance to the place is through a basement parking lot. When I stayed, the lift wasn't working and this place is from the 3rd floor onwards, most rooms on the 4th floor and above. It is definitely not for the differently abled.

Great place for a comfortable stay. Well behaved staff, all amenities in working condition and clean property. Only if the lift was in working condition this property would've been a 10/10

Service issues i have facing

Great stay with all the basic amenities. A Co working space, a living hall and great well cleaned bathrooms. Overall a 10/10 experience the reception was also humble and helpful

electricity issue in bathroom area

Pros: The locality is not very far from Guwahati railway station.. just beside the road..with all time bus facility. They let you use the kitchen...which is a very good thing. . Cons : the hostel is in the backyard of the building..you have to enter from the parking.. have to take stairs till 3rd floor. which is a very hectic thing with baggages. Common shared bathroom for male and female.. just one female dedicated bathroom at the end.. which is also a problem. No personal lock system for the room like other hostel.. so privacy is a matter here..you have to carry your own lock

Clean hygienic helpful

Excellent property especially reception area chill room well maintained clean and hygienic they offer their kitchen for self use. Only disappointed will be the walk till reception from the basement parking.

No lift.. Not working... Also no tap in bathrooms.. Big negative

The sheets were not clean and the environment was not hospitable, i won't recommend this place to my enemies either

Property location is good but the maintenance is very poor, its on 5th floor and the entrance is through basement
