Vythiri Resort

A three hour drive from kozhicode railway station, through the greenest of green landscapes. Through hairpin bends of the thamarassery churam( mountain pass) each bend leading from rubber plantations to coffee estates to tea gardens, the eyes feasting on a different shade of green at each turn. The resort is itself a good distance from the main road, tucked away in the lap of nature, each building blending seamlessly into the landscape- a haven of rocks, medicinal trees, streams and pathways lined with peace lily plants and indigenous shrubs. The food was delicious, lots of variety, catering to indian, continental and chinese palates. The spread at all meal times was sumptuous and wholesome. The live music sessions added to the charm. The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. A special of mr rajesh, in charge of the game centre. He was very helpful and even gave instructions on how to play pool. We chose the resort to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary, and were fully satisfied and came away with fond memories of our stay and celebration.

Our stay at Vythiri resort was a memorable and relaxing experience. Every staff from the reception to the gardener had such a cheerful attitude and made us feel at home… The resort is beautifully maintained such close to nature. The food was delicious and the buffet had a good spread for vegetarians and non vegetarians . A special mention to Mr. Rajesh who picked us and dropped from and to Kozhikode railway station. He was very courteous and accommodative- enabling us to enjoy the world famous Paragon Biriyani on the last day!!! Also special mention to Mr Girish , who helped us to drop us and pick us from the restaurant in their resort car when I was not able to walk the elevated steps . All in all we had 3 beautiful days spent in this luxurious resort and I recommend everyone should try this experience staying in the middle of rainforests and nature!!!!! I’m sure I’ll be back soon during the rainy season to get the misty weather experience too!!!!

It’s a great place to stay and experience. Very well-designed, and the amenities are fabulous too. We stayed at the tree house, which is about 300 metres from the central premise, but they ensured that it was nowhere disconnected. The services within the resort are excellent, and these are complemented by fantastic front-end desk, housekeeping and pantry staff. Food is a treat, and they offer a lot of variety for pure vegetarians. Treehouse is a delight to stay in, we were in it for all three nights in the same, and we can vouch for the close-to-nature experience we had. Despite the territorial and weather-led limitations, they maintain it very nicely, and I would give full credit to the resort management and team.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at vythiri resort, and it was nothing short of enchanting. The location, nestled within the lush rainforest, provided a stunning backdrop for our getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making our stay truly memorable. But what stood out the most was the food - the culinary offerings were nothing short of excellent. Exploring the rain-forest surroundings added an adventurous dimension to our stay. Vythiri resort is a paradise for nature lovers, and i highly recommend it for a rejuvenating escape into the heart of nature.

Details: i stayed with my family (with 5 yr old, april. Vythiri haven pros: 1. In the midst of a jungle, so naturally beautiful location 2. Polite and friendly staff 3. Booking included all boarding and food was very good (v are veg) 4. Stream (though very less water, nature walk etc. 5. Spacious room, jaccuzi. Cons: 1. Cost slightly on the higher side 2. Games room should include fooseball, air-hockey etc. For kids (off season, most ppl came with. Families) 3. Scope for including small adventure activities inside the premise, present. Worth visiting.

Vythiri resort doens't have much of garden, the 90% of greenery here is forest itself. Forest needs conservation only doesn't need maintenance. It's a unique opportunity to stay in place like this and experience the ancestral gift. Experience the beautiful western ghat forest. The flora and fauna is very well maintained given the condition of human intervention. For the huge price we pay i think employees here are well trained in this regard on conservation. Must stay if you happen to visit south of wayanad.

Excellent stay. Rooms were ok. The lights in the rooms needs to be white and not yellow its difficult to read if one is wearing spectacles. Bathroom lights needs to looked into. It's very dark specially the room where we were staying. Service of the staff was excellent. Chef mejo and his entire staff in the restaurant were very courteous. Front office lo and prashant were efficient. Pick up and drop by was on the dot. I am forgetting their names. Overall the experience was good. Outside our netted balcony.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent resort and i must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment i arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. The resort itself is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views. My room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and had all the modern amenities i could ask for. The food at the resort's restaurant was delectable, offering a wide spread of mouthwatering dishes.

Ambience are too good, and food quality also great

Property is well maintained, echo friendly, it is in between the forest so it was a great experience staying here. Food was great they had wide variety of food, they don't provide food service to the rooms with good reason, that was ok. They have live events with dinner, violinist was great but the live music can be improved.

The property is situated literally in the forest which in itself gives you a different feel. The staff were very helpful and supportive. The services rendered by the reception desk and restaurant were very prompt and professional. Food was excellent. Truly a great experience. Ideal place to chill out wth family and friends. Would love to visit again.

It was an awesome experience to stay at this property they are placed beautifully amid-st a jungle and there is a stream flowing through them which adds to their natural ambiance food was very good their kerala special food was very authentic great hospitality and very kind and generous staff! they have a good play area for kids and we spotted some exotic animals endemic to this

The best location for stress relief with delicious food & humble mannerisms of staffs

It is not just a stay, a lifetime experience. From food to staff everything felt amazing. The peace lily all over gave wonderful vibes.

This was our first experience with my wife. Awesome place to stay and good hospitality. Waterfall near to our room and feel we are in middle of the forest. But very limited varieties of dishes are severed and taste is average. We expect more variety in the menu and taste is ok. We just comprised on taste.

Tree house stay was one of a kind experience. Heavy rains, excellent views, you can't ask for more. Food is also very good. Great staff. Tree house is 0. 5 km away from main resort, commutation made possible only by 4 wheel drive arranged by resort.
