placid garden resort is an excellent place for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation with family and friends in havelock island. the resort is nestled in a serene and peaceful location. the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. the staff is friendly, courteous, and always willing to assist guests with their needs. the resort's landscaped gardens & greenery add to the overall ambiance and create a calm and refreshing environment. in addition to the beautiful gardens, the resort is conveniently located near a stunning beach. we spent a lot of time there enjoying the sunshine, swimming in the crystal-clear waters, and taking long walks on the pristine sand. what really impressed us was the owner, mr. ashraf. he was always available to help with any of our travel needs, even at short notice. he went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. overall, i would highly recommend placid garden resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation experience. the resort's beautiful surroundings and excellent service make it the perfect destination for families and couples alike.

This is going to be very long review but this resort deserves this. First thing is the location - The Placid Garden Resort is just at the center of two beaches i.e. Kala Pathar and Radhanagar Beach. Easily accessible from jetty. The Govind Nagar Beach is just at a walking distance from Placid Garden Resort, so you can chill out there in free time. Second thing is the outside view from the room - the rooms and bathroom are very clean and comfortable, you will find the long nut trees just outside the room, that view is very enchanting and you will feel very close to nature. The design of cottage is also awesome. Third and most important thing is the Placid Garden Resort staff behavior - as soon as you enter the resort, you will come across Mr. Asraff, the soul of this Placid Garden Resort, very calm and polite person. He is always ready to help you. Please book your water sport activities from this person only, because these are very genuine person and will never play with your safety. They have one in-house restaurant with good lighting system, which make you feel relax in the evening. Just go for it. Enjoy.

We were 2 girls staying here for 2 nights. Initially were a little hesitant as there didn't seem to be much security but the room and service more than made up for it. Amenities, bathrooms, cleanliness are all exactly as described. Pros: Ashraf, the amazing concierge. I can happily say half our activities were possible because of him. From suggesting good restaurants to patiently answering all Qs to hiring us cycles when every shop refused to rent us one for some reason, to keeping our luggage after checkout, to even promising to drop off our luggage at the jetty since we were stuck at Radhanagar. He was a gem of a person. If only all the staff was as helpful! Cons: Wi-fi available only in the restaurant area, which means you have the choice of being eaten alive by mosquitoes or use the internet. 4/5, would stay again for sure.

We stayed at the resort 3 nights. Mr. Asraf the owner/manager guided us on many activities at havelock. He is a very soft spoken person and very courteous. Room and bathroom are great, the amenities were good. The location of the property is good, radhanagar beach is 8 kms. Kalapani beach is 6 kms, govndnagar beach is just across the road. As we rented a scooter for commuting we go trekking to elephant beach keeping the scooter at the road side. No issues, this is a very very safe place. We even scooter-ed to kalapani beach twice in two days at 4am in the morning thru the jungle road without any fear. Food at the resort was great and tasty. We enjoyed our time at havelock and at the resort too.

The resort is quite good. The room is homely. The bathroom is spacious. The location is excellent. Just 2 minutes walk to Govindnagar Beach. The management was helpful to our queries and needs. The food in the restaurant is food but a little on the expensive side but food is expensive all throughout the Andaman, so be ready to shell out more for food. Complimentary toiletries are provided but the complimentary breakfast is not filling. Perhaps the management should look into this. Nonetheless, the stay at this resort was memorable and excellent.

The owner arranged scuba diving for us at a reasonable cost. Hut with chairs in porch and trees around provide good ambience. There was no intercom but the owner was responsive and courteous. Food had a nice distinct flavour. I recommend this Placid Garden Resort to everyone. Electricity backup was working. Hot water was available in the bathroom. The open-air cafeteria is good. Hotel staff is hard working. The place is 3 km away from jetty and auto is easily available with 100 rupee fare.

Stayed for 2 days. Rooms are neat and clean. Beach is just 1 min walk, its pleasant beach. Food is very good but quantity is very less. Opposite there is a restaurant (called Golden Spoon, its horrible), so ate at this Placid Garden Resort only. Room service is not that great, they are cleaning rooms only once in 2 days it seems. The staff really helped to and from the jetty (the port where we take ferry to Port Blair). Also they helped in the island tours (Elephanta Beach and other).

Nice room and location. The ambience outside the room is just amazing. Just few mins away from the serene govind nagar beach. Hotel arranged a complimentary pickup from the jetty. Mr. Gp was all ears to our requests and arranged cabs to tour havelock. He also booked us govt ferry ticket from neil to portblair which we requested as we had to reach port blair early in the morning. Simply put hospitality has been excellent. Food is good. Overall it's a pleasant stay

I stayed there along with my wife on 29/11/2022 to 01/12/2022. I must say, this is a beautiful resort to stay. Especially the quality of food was outstanding. Hygiene was maintained nicely. The conduct of Placid Garden Resort staff was very humble. Whatever we demanded, we got it in a time bound manner. The location is also superb as vijay nagar beach is at a walking distance i must recommend this place for everybody to stay at havelock island.

Nice boutique Placid Garden Resort with very helpful owner. The rooms are small but very clean and equipped with all basic amenities. However, there is no intercom in the room, so for room service you need to go to till reception, if you don't have mobile network, through which you can call the owner on his mobile.

We had a great stay. Staff is very much polite and service is great with yummy food and they have variety of dishes including continental foods. Location of this resort is very close to beach within 5mins. One can take a walk in resort itself. Owner/caretaker is very much helpful and polite. Nice flora collection.

The property is extremely beautiful, it is near the beach and some wonderful eating joints. The staff is very kind and the owner is very helpful.

The Placid Garden Resort staff was friendly and well informed. The place was clean and tidy with wonderful service. Quality of food was also perfect! a perfect place to stay with reasonable prices.

The place was excellent and had a serene feel about it. The landscaping was very good and also cottages were very comfortable. The service was great and the owner ashraf also interacted with us and was very polite and courteous. The chill i garlic prawns were delicious!

The manager and staffs were really humble and served to us very well. The ambience was really good.
