Pokhrel lodge

A clean Pokhrel lodge, at the heart of Kalimpong, with modern rooms and facilities. Just a few steps from the Kalimpong motor stand. Hotel staff was courteous. The view from terrace was nice. The Pokhrel lodge manager took enough care to introduce us to the various tourist points that could be spotted from the rooftop. The Pokhrel lodge starts from the 2nd floor onwards, and the property is without a lift. So, it was difficult climbing the stairs. Overall, a good experience.

Located in the heart of Kalimpong. Taxi stand is nearby. Market all around. Reasonable room rates. Hong-Kong restro is good. Two problems exists- one is that there is no elevator and 2nd issue is the room given to me had no view of hills. But none of these were of importance for someone on official trip.

Location of this Pokhrel lodge is very good, local bus stand is just 1min from it. We took food at Pokhrel lodge Aditya which is near to it.
Rooms should be maintained with more caring & clean properly.

The rooms were very good with balcony attached with rooms. Location is very good as it is within the market and 1 min from the taxi stand. People were very helpful but they do not have food facility.

Good staying place. Room service and cleanliness are good.
Bathroom should be more spacious.

Location of the Pokhrel lodge was great, and the behaviour of the staff were also good. Enjoyed staying.

I booked at this Pokhrel lodge but at the time check in I was shifted to Panchavati Lodge and I had to stay there which I think is not right. However my stay was good at the changed Pokhrel lodge.

Good experience. The Pokhrel lodge is in the perfect location. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The restaurants are near by Pokhrel lodge. Very close to taxi stand.

I booked a budget room but budget room very small.

Hospitality of the Pokhrel lodge was very good. It was such a nice experience indeed.

Location wise very good. Room was clean n spacious. Hotel staff is very friendly n helpful.

We get this room cheap as compared to previous room, we paid less but the Pokhrel lodge is quite dirty and we only order tea that too was terrible. And the service was bad.
