We stayed here for two nights. This is an old property. Highlights: The location is scenic, and the overall experience of reaching the property by boat was unique and enjoyable. Areas of Concern: The hygiene standards were disappointing. The iron table provided, the massage room, and the general ambience did not meet expectations. The service quality was poor. This was disheartening, as such treatment is rare to experience in India. Unfortunately, this left us regretting our decision to book this property.

Great location and amenities for the price what we pay, Since its an island one has to plan the boat ride as one has to wait for long , pls plan ur travel to other places accordingly as the staff is very slow at times.

The property is very beautiful, located in an island surrounded by water and lots of greenery around!! Food is reasonably good, staff quite courteous. Housekeeping & upkeep of rooms can be improved, especially the lenen needs an upgrade. Overall great experience!!

I stayed at Poovar Island Resort for one night over the weekend. The location is undoubtedly beautiful and serene — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were welcoming and the hospitality was commendable, which made the short stay pleasant. However, I felt that I couldn't fully enjoy the experience due to limited time and the fact that most of the amenities and activities close by 7 PM. This early cutoff made the evening feel a bit uneventful. Also, while the setting and service were nice, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re staying for longer and can explore everything during the day. For short stays or late arrivals, it might not offer the best value.

They are not allowing our car to hotel parking by saying u have to take hotel taxi price of their taxi is 4 times higher and not allowing uber and savari cabs and threatnig the drivers

Poovar Island Resort is an amazing property. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was top-notch. The room was very clean and spacious . The location of the resort was close to sea. They provide complimentary boat trips to the beach. They have lots of activities.

Location was great , the boat ride to reach the property was superb. We stayed at the floating cottage which had great views of the backwater and the sea , one of a kind experience, Food was good, breakfast spread was also good. The soft furnishings in the cottage could have been upgraded.
