very worst attitude. customer service was worst & rude persons are there. very unsafe, rooms are not clean. kindly remove this kind of unprofessional hotel it will spoil your reputation. highly not recommended

Nice and friendly stay for couples

Property has been maintained very nicely. It's neat and clean. But it's in the middle of nowhere. It's just on the beach but the beach itself is not well maintained. I wanted to take a stroll on the beach in the morning but found people relieving themselves on the beach. I had to come off. There is nothing for you to do in that place except boat ride in the backwaters which was as awesome experience. The caretaker of the hotel kept reminding me that 11.00 AM is check out time stating that it's hotel policy. For getting decent food, you've to travel at least 2 kms.

Good and comfortable stay. This building is facing the beach and right in front is the beach area with white sand. Rooms are good and clean. Staff are helpful, polite and friendly. Air freshener sprayed in the room was too strong and unpleasant, it could have been avoided since it remained in the rooms throughout the stay. The bed linen and towel provided was dark brown and dark grey, it would have been great if they were pure white which would have given a cleaner feel.

This was the amazing stay at the hotel in my entire 13 day Kerala trip. Staff and Joseph was very helpful and cooperative. Very near to beach 50 meters only. They help in getting the mango grove rides and also help guiding about local area.

We went with 7 members group off friends all females we had quite a good experience where the place is near to beach and boating. And the owner of this place made us feel secure and safe. We got our food on time and with good amenities.

They stay was really good, beach front, very cleanly maintained. If they introduce food option it would be very convenient.

A pleasant stay at an offbeat location in Poovar. The property is a villa facing the sea(it’s not on the beach though). The rooms are neatly maintained with clean bathrooms, washed linen and a huge balcony to enjoy sunsets. The property does not have a restaurant and food options on Swiggy/Zomato are limited. Commute may be a challenge if you don’t have your own car. Covalam beach is about 30 mins and Varkala is about 2 hours from here. The owner is extra caring and ensures you have a comfortable stay.

The staff was not helpful and rude

Average hotel but felt costly to that location. I don't see nearby houses. If you are going by own vehicle then u can manage else bit complicated for food and travel.

The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained . They help us to provide boating and it’s an amazing experience . Special thanks to Mr :Joseph .he helped us a lot 👍

The property is very nice and clean with great views of the beach and a beautiful front garden with ample car parking and drive way. This is the only affordable guest house in the area and rest all are expensive resorts. The host joseph is quite responsive and followed up with us until we made it to the property. Please note, the beach there is not swimmable and at night can be occupied by groups consuming alcohol and playing cards. Though they seem harmless. If you are family or couple, keep in mind when venturing out by walk. We visited here during peak season of the year - christmas-nye, so there was some confusion in booking. When i chose, i chose two rooms with 1 ac and one non-ac for 3 adults and 2 small children. But somehow we all ended up in a 1 large non-ac room(luckily for the winter, we didn't care much for ac. Probably issue, cu z when i opened after booking, everything got updated. We loved our overnight stay and the morning boating at poovar mangroves with help of shaji, who was recommended by joseph from the boating. Ps: the place is only for couples and family.

We stayed as a large group here. The hotel is located right in front of the golden sand beach. Unfortunately bathing and swimming is prohibited in the beach. Also the area is secluded with no shops nearby and dirty. There is nothing to do except poovar mangrove boating which was excellent. The hotel care taker joseph arranges boat at a reasonable rate and you can hop in just next to the hotel. The property is good but no restaurant. However they arrange food from nearby restaurant and provide cutlery. Make sure you have id proof for all persons staying as they don't provide rooms if you fail to provide ids for all which i find strange. Overall okish experience. I would recommend you stay here only if you are traveling in big groups and have no other option to stay.

The stay at this hotel was nice, but at this area there are not any good hotels or restaurants, the food we ordered was chappathi and curry was not good and from next day our stomach was upset and also the water in the bathroom was very salty and not use-able for brushing and bathing purposes the room was neat and clean and the behaviour of hotel owner was really good
