Pictures of the property are deceiving. It is right next to the main road. There is no privacy. Pool is also tiny.

familyPop tavern is beautiful property located very close to the kovalam beach. The charming property has a well maintained private pool, which is perfect for the family. It also has a good restaurant, just next door. Coming to the negatives, the property has a lot of ants, do not leave any open food anywhere on the tables or bed. Also the toiletries provided is very limited. No shampoo, lotion or shaving kit or toothpaste is provided, which is expected at this price. Also no toilet papers are kept in the bathrooms. The property does not has a working kitchen and absolutely no cutlery is provided, even the breakfast was served in polythene bags and we kept looking for even spoons and glasses. Overall it was a nice stay, the caretaker was very pleasant. However, a few additions like basic cutlery, a working stove and a few toiletries will elevate the experience even further.
