Location of Prairie Lodge Cottage Guesthouse is perfect for those who want to stay away from the hustle-bustle of the city yet want to be close to the main attractions. The Cleanliness of the property is commendable, with clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The Food & Dining is delicious and affordable, with a variety of options available. The Amenities provided are good, with hot water, Wi-Fi, and kitchen facilities available. The Host and staff are exceptionally courteous and helpful, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

  The property is located in a peaceful and calm location with amazing views of the mountains. It is a bit far from the main market but worth it. The property is in the heart of the city and is a good way to feel the native life. The location is perfect and near to the Mall road. The property is on a big slope and taxi doesn't come to the property. The location is a bit difficult for a person from a non-hilly area to go out for sightseeing. The location is steep and walking up the hill can be challenging for elderly people.

• Cleanliness

  The rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. The linens could have been a bit more clean but weren't very dirty. The bed was a bit too firm but that is subjective. The bathroom was huge and had hot water. The mirror was still dirty even after cleaning. The restroom was really dirty and the mirror was still so dirty as it was before.

• Food & Dining

  The food was very tasty and the kitchen services were good. The owner took extra care to cook dinner to my taste. The food took a long time to be delivered and I had to ask for it repeatedly. The food was delicious and affordable.

• Amenities

  The property has good basic facilities at affordable prices. The room had a kettle and nice towels. The water was hot. There were cutleries and oven available which could be used as per requirement.

• Host

  The host and staff were remarkable, very cool, and helpful. The owner was kind and made us feel like we were at home. The owner was also kind and friendly and even helped us getting our way around Shimla. The host was very professional and helping.
