Prarthana Beach Stay

We stayed here during one of the weekdays. The resort was pretty empty and relaxing. The entrance is beautiful at night and there is plenty of parking available. There are wood cottages and ac rooms available here. The cottages are beautiful and clean. The food here is also cooked fresh with a restaurant and seating area. Breakfast being free is a bonus. The resort is right next to a beach and it is pretty empty. You basically have a private beach to yourself. You can see fishermen fish here early in the morning too! we can also see the hills around gokarna from here. It is a pretty good place to chill and relax. The roads leading up to it in the last 700m or so are pretty narrow and bad. Other than that i would recommend staying here. Trip type vacation travel group family rooms: 4 service: 5 location: 4 rooms the rooms are quite pretty. Nearby activities well there is a freaking beach right next to this so i don't think it gets better than that. Hotel highlights great view, quiet, great value

our stay at parathana beach resort was extremely pleasant. Peace and calm is the word i would use to describe this place. Although its a bit far from the ideal gokarna main place. However, if you are looking for a relaxing getaway or just want a peacfull night near the beach, then its a must visit. We stayed at the wood cabins which were comfortable and spacious. The owner of the property is extremely friendly and helpful. Situated right on the beach make it even more wondrous. You will get a long beach with only few people and no crowd. Can enjoy long walks, watch sunset or play. I think photos doesnt justify how beautiful this place is. There is a cafe nearby which is extremely good too with some delicious mouth watering dishes. Even parathana's cafe food is amazing too. A must visit pros: peace, calmness, comfortable, food, beach front, and the list goes on cons: bit far from gokarna main beaches. Only accessible by boat

The property is fairly new and so is the team. The staff is warm and cordial in their approach however not so efficient. There is a lot that the owners can do to develop the property. There is no proper direction to the property and google maps also did not help us much. Do not try the ferry, if you are travelling to this place in your car. The property is next to nirvana beach and if you are lucky, you can spot dolphins from the beach however the place is 45 min away from main Gokarna. So plan your stay in a way that Om Beach, Kudle Beach and Mahabaleshwara temple (the main attractions) can be covered during your stay. The food is good, but the problem is they close early and not all the items in the menu is always available.

Food quality is ok but spicy. Food is heavily priced. As this resort is remote looks like they are taking advantage of it. Morning complimentary breakfast is really poor as they will give you 2 choices that you may binay like it. Quality of the room is ok. But the bath rooms can be better. Staff are ok but they need to be little more transparent it took an hour to get taxi phone number. If you are travel-ling without a car with kids and elderly people keep some back up taxi numbers to deal with any unforeseen emergencies. I have shared my feedback on food to owners’s son. I would say it is good stay but they can make it better and memorable

Prarthana beach resort is almost on the shore making it a wonderful experience of having a beach stay. You can hear the sound of waves as long as u r within the property. Service is quite good and staff are very courteous. The property is quite secluded but worth the money. Important point to remember, one should approach the property via a place called kumta. Often when u try to reach the property, gps will guide you inappropriately to reach the destination via a ferry which is only applicable for 2 wheelers and not 4 wheelers.

We enjoyed a lot. Beach access is available and can enjoy but privately. No swimming due to high vortexes. Wooden cottages are simple and comfortable. Staff are good and their services are very friendly. Marg breakfast is complimentary. But the location is too far and so inside. You cannot reach from gokarna. Google shows shortcut which we need to cross the river. Which is impossible and their no service and road when we went there. You need to travel to kumta beach and reach the location. Overall it’s awesome.

Wonderful and serene small resort tucked away from the city. It has direct access to the beach and this area is not at all crowded leaving the beach to the guests. Rooms are small, clean and hygienic. Staff is friendly, warm and needs to scale up on the guest support practices. Cook was excellent with his food options and variety. Good options available for those who relish sea food.

We liked the location, ambiance, and proximity to the beach. It was clean and a value-for-money property. It is very new and the food variety needs to be enhanced. We had a wonderful time as a family and the hospitality was exceptional. I highly recommend this property for anyone who is interested to have a calm and a relaxing break.

I stayed there for 2days and location is very good as well as staff and rooms.

The place is a nice secluded place. The resort is new and maintained well. Staff is good and very helpful. The beach outside the Prarthana Beach Stay is good and clean and nice for a walk or a dip.

Location of the property was excellent. The villas are clean and well maintained. Staff was cooperative. Food was good but a bit pricey. The property has direct beach access and is surreal to look at
