Best Budget Place to Stay Near Jagannath

The homestay is very near and walkable to the temple. The host is friendly. It has all the amenities which is required to comfortably stay for a day or 2 and can have multiple darshans at the temple. You get ancient vibes and this place reeks culture of Odisha. The only 1 issue i found while my short stay is the AC needs servicing. ๐

It was very relaxing staying there. Sri mandir was visible from balcony. Room and bathroom was neat and clean. Both owner and the care taker are very much humble. I hope only if there was arrangement of cold drinking water, it could have been more better. Except that everything was very good for me.

soloThe property was really classy which provided a very good vibe due to the old interior, bed and everything. The location is very close to the temple which is the best part. The room was clean, bed was nice and clean and also environment was very nice. The owner is a gentleman and very helpful. Overall the property was one of the best stay i had so far in terms of peacefullness, cleanliness and location.

Photos of property were deceptive. Property is literally a hole in the wall. Untidy and borderline uncomfortable. I couldnโt sleep because of mosquitos was very uncomfortable. But very nice host and nice people

Ma'am Sorry for your uncomfortable stay. But our rooms are cleaned regularly and many people have enjoyed their stay. There are hardly any mosquitoes in the room, but still we have given mosquito oil in both the ac rooms. If you are looking for premium facilities at this price it's not possible. ๐

Poorly maintained and very old house

The house is pretty old, moist and dusty. Though the location is good the property is i difficult to stay in. Vacated the property immediately after checking in. You get good hotels near by for a little extra.

Sir, our rooms are cleaned regularly. You can check the reviews on various platforms. Everyone has enjoyed their stay and is coming back time and again. First you said there is dust inside the room. When we offered to clean it up again to your satisfaction you said there is dust from outside. You just wanted the refund which was not possible as per the MMT policy. You could have easily cancelled the booking 24hrs before checkin and got your refund. We are very sorry for your uncomfortable stay. We always try to give the best of service to our guests. ๐

Home like stay

Homestay: really simple, clean and no-fuss. Food is not available. It is on the main road towards the temple. Very basic facility but feel exactly like a lower middle Purified water available. Wi-fi also available. Safe for single female travellers as the managing persons are a family.
