Pratiksha River Retreat- A River Access Property

This was my third trip to Pratiksha River Resort. It has become a family staple and we go here once every year. It is the prefect place for a family stay. Staff is extremely helpful, polite and food is excellent. The location is easy to find and my son particularly enjoys the pool. Overall a very good experience.

Almost everything was perfect here. Nice river access property, located in a peaceful location. It is well decorated & maintained. Rooms are big Food is cheap & great to taste. Overall a recommended stay.

Booked this property for the 3rd time in last 8-9 years, it's a great property hidden from the main road but very huge inside with only 16 rooms, there is ample space to play games, have drinks under hut, direct access to the river and a swimming pool. Food served was really tasty, literally i had no complaints except few maintenance issues which doesn't impact your stay or enjoyment. Staff was always there on their toes to provide great service.

Nice place to spend some quality time with family. The staff is extremely warm and helpful. They can definitely invest in getting better mattresses as this was one area of improvement. Food is good too. Overall nice property.

Bed response room WiFi not available and ac not working

We recently stayed at pratiksha river retreat, jim corbett. Although, the location of property was very nice and was close to river, but the rooms were pathetic. There were no amenities in the rooms and very old and basic furniture was kept there. Considering the price for the hotel, rooms were not at all worth staying. There was no hot water available in bathrooms and cleanliness is close to zero. Food was below average and with very limited options in buffet, however their restaurant manager- mr rakesh was courteous and polite. He has actually helped us to customise the meals as per our request. Front office staff was completely unfriendly and didn’t want to hear about any feedback that we wanted to share. Overall highly disappointed with the stay at this place. One could easily get better options within this price range. Makemytrip, please make a note of this information. Thanks

Food is good. Right next to river. Thy dont hv electric kettle or fridge in room but v didnt miss tht. Tara and food was good in restaurant. Staff is very polite

The property is river access and is a decent stay

I have stayed for one day with family. Food was excellent and mr rakesh served food with love and he take care of non spicy food of my daughter. Hotel management need improvement to install tv in front of bed so that guest can see the tv. Towel should be clean and not in wear and tear condition. Tea cattle should be must specially for winter. They need to install more play equipment for kids.

Clean rooms, good for guy gangs. Eat drink no issues. Entrance is a bit tricky, but fair enough.

Front entry could be better as its just a narrow street without any decoration and all, doesn't look good while entering. Should have room heaters as per current weather, bed mattress are of very poor quality as if you need a proper sleep, this is not the right place.
As there were very rare guests in resorts, hence, people were able to manage social distancing very well

Location and ambience of the resort was good, however, the bathroom attached to the room that was given to us was stinking badly. Rest was okay. We made last minute booking hence not much options were available to us. If booked well in advance, I would say there are much better options are available at more reasonable rates.
