Nice and pleasant stay at Hotel Rose Prim Nainital. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Stay with kids is always problematic, but, they helped us all along our journey with tasty food and service as and when requested

This hotel has the potential to be much better. I would rate it 2 out of 5, mainly due to the lack of hot water throughout the day and the absence of a jet spray in the bathroom. The food quality is decent for the price, though a bit oily. Overall, it’s value for money. The front desk staff is helpful. However, I faced issues while booking a cab through the hotel staff — make sure to confirm clearly which car you’ll get and the exact fare. In my case, they promised a WagonR but sent an Alto instead. They also committed to covering three spots, but later charged the same for only two. When I raised the concern, a staff member behaved quite rudely.

It was overall good. very convenient and easy access to mall road and Zoo. The staff is very cooperative and well behaved. Only the kitchen part needs improvement.

The stay is good and accessible from main city of Nainital. The room is good and service of the staffs are also good. But one thing, we didn’t get hot water at the time mentioned by them.

Door lock: not working, wash basin: no water till the evening, they repaired it after complaining; no hot water, no electric kettle. Among all these negative experiences one after another I only found their service staffs were really active.

Rooms are stinky and even house keeping not good. not recomended for family stay. for boys outing its good as under budget

It was a pathetic experience at this hotel. I suggest everyone to not go on pictures they have showed. Actual room is totally different. Not having proper bathroom if you are hygiene person. Bad smell in room always there. Taps are not properly maintained.

Pros: 1. The hotel does offer a parking facility, which is convenient. Cons: 1. There is no proper lake view from the property, which was disappointing given the location. 2. Hot water is only available between 8 AM and 11 AM — highly inconvenient for guests with different schedules. 3. The food quality is average; we tried both breakfast and dinner, and neither stood out. 4. The stay charges are on the higher side compared to other nearby hotels that offer a great lake view and parking. 5. During our stay, only one staff member assisted us, and we gave him a tip during checkout. However, as we reached our car, 3–4 other staff members surrounded us, apparently expecting a tip as well. This made us feel uncomfortable.
