Pulickattil Houseboat

Staff of the boat are very polite and well behaved, food was good and tasty. Some improvement required - 1. Boat need renovation as roof was not decorated like other boats and roof is having nothing. 2. As its backwater mosquitoes and insects are flying for that atleast some mosquito spray in the rooms are required. 3. Lack of light inside the boat and room need to increase the same. 4. After 6.00 PM there is noting except you feel bore need to put TV at least in the room with cable connection or VCD so that guest can spend there time. 5. Showers are not working have to use bucket for bathing. Inspite of all these I have enjoyed a lot and there is no complain just few suggestion for improvement. what I like the most is the staff they are very friendly and caring. So I am giving 5 star for there service but for the quality of the boat I will give 2 star. Overall, I will rate it good .

Value for money but. Food served on board was delicious and served well. The crew were also well mannered but not well groomed. Room is good and AC provided as promised. Boat maintenance was found not up to the mark. Changed the plan from single occupancy to double occupancy boat and at last the compensation promised were not provided as other guests didn't turned out and the boat is not at all furnished on the top level and we are provided only plastic chairs. That's pathetic.

An excellent option for someone searching a peaceful and relaxed break away from noise and pollution of city. Staff know Hindi as well as English. The houseboat gives a peaceful and breathtaking view of a lake, back water lanes and a small village. Good for a relaxing unhurried and rejuvenating stay. Rooms were small for three adults. A very good stay.

The house boat should facilitate availability of spoons and bowls as it helps as people in their dinning experience. The return journey starts at 8:00 Hrs to end at 9:00 Hrs, rather it should start at 7:00 Hrs to give more back water experience before disembarking from the house boat. Overall a unique and beautiful experience for me and my family.

Hello Kem Cho ??? We stayed in houseboat for one day on December 2014. Houseboat service is very good. Staff was very well co-operative. Our experience is excellent on this houseboat. They provide only limited food on dinner time, they have to take care of this. Except this everything is will be perfect. I will recommended this houseboat.

Yes, it was altogether amazing experience to spend a night in house boat. Very nice interaction with the localites. Away from all the hustles of city but only problem was with the food. There was no taste to the food and also basic requirements were not as expected, but otherwise a very unique experience of the houseboat.

The hospitality was good. Food was excellent. I personally convey my thanks to the Mr Tommy pulickkatil for his hospitality as he has taken personal interest as my husband was sick. As per the houseboat I felt some entertainment was needed in the evening like TV or music etc for people to enjoy their time.

Excellent voyage, fear of mosquito is not true, very friendly crew members, slight disturbance due to argument between other co-passengers and facilitators. We travelled with kid of 2.5 years which is not advisable because it is unsafe. However, full safety coverage observed from the crew members.

Had a wonderful stay in the Pulickattil Houseboat. The staff was very courteous and the food was simply superb. The hygiene and upkeep of the houseboat was up to the mark. The location too was nice. Overall just two words to describe: "Loved it"!!

The stay at boat house was a memorable one. The crew members in the boat house were very co-operative and too good. We had a Kerala style authentic food. The night stay location was safe and secure. The boat condition was good. Good place to relax during vacation.

All good, Pulickattil Houseboat staff are good and cooperative. Food is also good, room service is good, location of the Pulickattil Houseboat is very good, only taste is not according to the north India, else every thing is good. Rooms are clean, toilets are clean and hygiene.

Feel like home. Especially the staff are excellent in houseboat.

Everything was awesome. Great food, crew member were well manners, great location. I asked them for floral decoration and a cake. They decorates with limited number of jasmine flower which I could count very few. Rest everything was great.

Boat was nice. Only problem with cleanness. Ants roaming where also water taps was rusted. Rest everything is excellent. Staff was very helpful and polite. They have arranged candle light dinner for us which is very nice experience. Village walk was excellent, we traveled more than 14 km.

The Houseboat was a double deck one with two storeys. The deck space was large enough. The negative points are the cleanliness. The bathroom had a foul smell. The food offered was good local Kerala veg cuisine.

Everything is good. Breakfast and candle light dinner should be available in the room. The atmosphere is so cute and familiar like family. And last thing is that Ac is not started in evening but It is started from 21:00 pm in night. Ac should be started in whole day to avoid hot weather.
