The facility is well-maintained and tidy. The staff members are extremely friendly and hospitable. However, on our first day, there were no soaps available. We had to request twice before they provided us with the soaps. Getting to the place can be quite challenging as it is located uphill and the roads are narrow. If you are not familiar with driving on hills, it is recommended to avoid self-driving and instead opt for a cab or an experienced driver. It is advisable to have your own transport or hire a vehicle from kodaikanal.

We were a group of 5 people including two girls. We stayed here for 2 days and it was amazing. Its a nice homestay with all the amenities and the location is nice. But most importantly, the hosts ( jayakumar and bhanu) welcomed us warm heartedly. They showed great hospitality. The breakfast was amazing and all the amenities. There are 2-3 cats and a dog. We had so much fun playing with them. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Thank you jayakumar and bhanu. We will definitely visit again and keep up the good work.

One of the best place you will find in kodaikanal to stay with your family or friends. Well trained mannered staffs and you will have such a nice experience which you can cherish always. Stayed for 2 days with my family. About 5km away from town which will give you a nice riding experience and an exotic ambience. Especially these people will treat you like a family jayakumar. T -manager prakash -cook banu - h k karthick -cook this who are visiting kodaikanal, must stay for once.

Located at very nice and peaceful place. But have to travel atleast 1hr from city centre. Road to Purple Orchid by Xacro Xperiences has many peak slopes and required good driving skill. Pros: location, ambience, staff hospitality cons: complimentary breakfast is very average, since its located too far from city centre no restaurant around it and u are left with only option to p reorder in the staying Purple Orchid by Xacro Xperiences

Overall, i found the Purple Orchid by Xacro Xperiences to meet my basic accommodation needs for the duration of my stay. The room was modestly sized yet adequately furnished with standard amenities as expected, including a comfortable queen bed, small desk and chair, and private bathroom. While dated, the room was clean and well-maintained. Staff at the front desk were polite and attentive.

Property was good. But the roads to reach there needs a skilled driver. Premium double room was kind of above average. Mattresses and bathrooms were clean. Flush was slow and water colour for bathing was kind of whitish. We have booked another queen room on the property that was soo good compared to this. Property manager was kind enough to answer us

The place is clean and hygienic. Staff members are helpful and the surroundings are very pleasant. Evenings will be a little cold. Food is ok and they have timings for food order, check with them before reaching the destination. The only problem with the place is electricity, there will be no electricity during evening for max 30 min

Had an excellent stay at purple orchid! the room was cozy with 24/7 heater availability, ample parking space, and the hospitality was commendable. It felt like a home stay with delicious family-cooked meals. Opting for a room in kodai instead of dealing with traffic made our vacation truly enjoyable.

Stay was excellent. Budget friendly best accommodation in kodaikanal. Good service, room and bathrooms are neat and clean.

The stay and view of glam-ping was more than expected. The best part is the hospitality and their food. Every staff member was so courteous and they made us feel at home.
