Purple Palms Resort & Spa

Purple Palms Resort is definitely an amazing spot for a getaway from the busy lives, but not too far from the Kushalnagara town! It's a property from SLN group who owns Levista Coffee (which I am a big fan of). When we reached the gate of the resort, we felt it was a wrong choice as it was directly on the main highway to Madikeri. But as soon as we entered into the resort area we were amazed by the way the resort was setup with so much greenery! 😍 It was like as if we entered into some place far in a jungle with no noise from the nearby highway. Welcomed by a polite and smiling staff, along with a welcome drink. Lot of car parking area. Separate parking area for vehicles with driver and private cars. Check-in process was smooth. We stayed in Courtyard rooms, which had balconies. But the balconies are connected, so if you want a private balcony, you might get disappointed. But we found it fine, as the balconies had a separation for almost 80% and only little area was left connected. Rooms were big in size, the missing part was a wardrobe instead they have a small room for dressing. They have a spa, gym, kids play area, swimming pool, small lawn, fish pond and some indoor games like snooker, carroms, Ludo, etc. The spa was very good and procedures were reasonably priced. Good trained staff. Breakfast buffet is superb with a great spread. The staff in resturant is also super-friendly and helping in all the ways. But the food menu for room service was a slight disappointment as the items were available only during the breakfast/lunch/dinner timings. So if you are with a kid and you want to order something for feeding in between then you need to plan well. Unlike many other resorts or Purple Palms Resort & Spas, where all the menu items are available for order throughout the day. Also, I found the menu a bit over priced, for example a serving of 3 boiled eggs priced at INR 275. Though the items were very good and they do take care of requests like if something needs to be prepared without spice, etc. The hospitality is top notch. The way the staff treat you. The way they serve two apples and some cookies as complimentary every day around evening tea time. The way they take care of you when you go to restaurant. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend to others if you want to enjoy the greenery and have a relaxing stay (provided if this fits in your budget as it's slightly on the premium side). 😊

Stayed 3days with family includes 2 children's. Explored swimming pool, restaurant with breakfast and dinner, childrens play area, spa etc. The ayurvedic massage with special oil and steam bath was excellent. Felt relaxed and relieved. Children enjoyed the swimming pool very well. The food was also good. Ambience was excellent which filled with greenery. I stayed in middle level executive room with additional bed for my boy. The room was spacious with a balcony. View sunrise. Cleanliness was excellent, service staff were very kind and supportive. Quality of amenities were good, safety in the swimming pool was very good with seperation, 4 feet swimming pool was very safe for adults who doesn't know swimming. The reception desk, parking, ambience, land scape was very well maintained with opulence. Suggestion for improvements 1. Fish pond was not maintained 2. No iron box in the room 3. Cost of food and room little high. Value for money aspect. 4. Buffe dinner cost very high. Can be maintained less than 1000 5. Breakfast -baked products were repeated 6. Val-let parking na 7. Taxi provision exorbitantly priced.

Amazing and very attractive entry beautifully managed parking awesome welcome by the polite resort staff with a welcome drink which tasted good smooth check in process beautifully arranged room with all the spacious wardrobe and all the toiletries including dental shaking kits and hair dryer ample amount of arrangements for coffee tea including electric kettle amazing sitting arrangement inside the room. The relax couch is the star of the room. Electric safe and refrigerator are good additions tidy bedsheets with a comfortable mattress and pillows i loved the fact that the towels and hand towels were smelling amazing. It had some floral fragrance which made the experience amazing rest the outdoor amenities like kids play area, or indoor games zone, swimming pool lawn smoking area etc are very nicely placed the candle lit dinner space created within the lawn is beautiful the only issue i felt is the floor of the room. The floor is too noisy and needs repair. I also loves the way you have served complimentary fruits and cookies everyday. In all 9. 9/10 is my feedback

Rooms were very clean and neat. Everyday they will give you biscuits, chocolates and apples for free when they clean your room. They are environment conscious and wont give you you plastic bottles of water but water in glass bottles. Breakfast spread is very good but not much of change everyday. I missed a cheese platter during breakfast but their fresh was awesome. Room service is available round the clock but after 10 pm there are lesser options. Every room is centrally air conditioned (pls see the pic) - does not mention that they have an ac in each room. The swimming pool is super clean. The staff is very humble and helpful and they always have a smile on their faces. Taxi service for day trips is a little expensive, would be better to get a local taxi service. There are some mosquitoes in the evening but they try and put smell less spray to keep it at the minimum. Spa treatment is good and not very expensive - if you are a lady ask for usha. They have a small playground, a gym and some indoor games as well.

Had a wonderful stay in purple palms resort on a long weekend. The location of the resort is spot on and attractions like dub-are elephant camp, nisarghadhama and golden temple are in a vicinity of ~10 km. The hospitality of the staff is noteworthy right from the time you checkin till checkout. The rooms are spacious with excellent ventilation and are neat and tidy. All the basic requirements are housed in the room. The restaurant serves some lip smacking dishes albeit a bit overpriced. The amenities like swimming pool, indoor play area, kids play area are maintained cleanly. The spa housed in the resort is chargeable. Overall, had an amazing time here.

The property is designed beautifully and gives a naturly vibes at its best. The rooms are spacious, have play area and swimming pool. Good open and inside sitting area for breakfast, they takes care of their clients. I had an amazing experience at the property, they also prepare the food as per the customization if need. Specially i want to thank mr manoj who treated us for breakfast and dinner and get us food which was without onion and garlic as per jain preparation (thanks for their efforts and service) i extend my thanks to the purple palm team who tries to give the best service to their customers thanks for memorable stay, loved it)

Purple palms is truly an amazing resort true to its elegance and price. The place is very well kept clean and the food is really delicious. The staff is extremely polite. Generous and helpful. Must visit the swimming pool. Also what i really loved about this resort is the glass water bottles that they refill in the rooms, very diligently, thereby avoiding plastic bottles. I really appreciate the noble gesture this resort has towards our planet ! i highly recommend purple palms for those who would like to visit coorg. Almost all tourist destinations are within the driving range10 mins of 2 hours max ! a must visit! 5 stars from me !

Resort is very clean and hygiene maintained in room, restaurant, swimming pool, play area. Staff is very kind and helpful. Special shout-out to manager dinesh - very soft spoken and gave good recommendations. Vijay the house keeping guy, person who takes care of play arena (forgot to take his name, puja from spa. 3. 5 hours from blr, it’s on main road, close to all cafe, restaurants and nisargadgama food court. Great stay, silent and relaxing. Spa at affordable prices, if you looking at a quick get away from blr, this resort is a must!

Clean and comfortable stay. A sofa in each room would have been good - we had to always sit on the bed or an easy chair or a wooden chair ! food was good and service great. Felt the room was overpriced.

Very good property. Amazing staff and very supportive management. Our car got some issue with the sensor and the GM and owner personally use their connect to get help from Kia depsite being Sunday to get the issue resolved

Nice resort worth every penny had a short stay but the services, the rooms were beautiful. Bathtub wasn't available

The property and hospitality was really good. The best thing for us was it is a wheelchair accessible property. The food is a bit priced however it was absolutely scrumptious ! overall enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property, quality food awesome service superb hospitality all amenities were present like swimming pool, game zone, garden and gym. Loved our stay here most importantly my kid enjoyed the most. Will definitely would like to revisit

Stay at purple palms resorts was very good. Rooms were spacious and clean. The room service was quick and prompt. Food was slightly priced high but taste was very good. Breakfast buffet was good with a wide spread of food options and live counters. Swimming pool was big but i felt water could have been little more clearer.
