Purple Resorts

We stayed here for a long duration. A comfortable place to stay. Choose only if you have your own vehicle, away from city. Place to park. Expect nothing great, more or less like a self serviced place. But for the price it was VFM. The pool was dirty initially but got cleaned due to rains. Restaurant would not be open regularly but you have lot of good places to eat just across street. Brothers pizzeria nearby was excellent, and a must. Rooms are really spacious and airy hence comfortable for longer stays. Nothing bad about the place but nothing to boast either. Staff are friendly and helpful to the extent it is possible within their ability. We really appreciate their laundry service offered on the house, really helped us out in the long stay. Thanks for this. Whatever food we ate at their restaurant was good, simple and homely. Place was under renovation but that did not create any disturbance except for being visually unappealing. Wouldn't mind staying here again.

The Purple Resorts should place a sign board in the main road for sure.. Cos Google maps doesn't show it correctly. Also 5 of us checked into two rooms. We called and asked for towels to take a shower as we came back from the beach. No response. Called 4 times and still no response. Then I walked to the reception and asked what is wrong and they said they don't have clean towels. That was really bad service. They said their washing machine was faulty and other guests have used up many extra towels

Good Rooms and Facilities. Need to improve on Service and Cleanliness. This Purple Resorts is still under construction and the rooms are very dirty. All furniture are broken and nothing is proper in this Purple Resorts. Please don't do the mistake of booking rooms in this Purple Resorts. I think Makemytrip should stop endorsing such Purple Resortss. I have never ever experienced like this Purple Resorts in this much low cost and swimming pool.

At the time of check in, the reception person asked us to make the payment. When checking out the next day, the lady receptionist wanted to charge extra saying that was an extra charge for late check-in. On not agreeing to that they changed stance saying that it was being charged for late check out. On protesting to that, they waived the extra charges. The facilities and the ambience at the place was good.

The room was really nice and spacious with a wonderful balcony. It's 40 mins from main Pondicherry but the area was good with some awesome restaurants in that area. I want to name one that is Tanto it serves delicious pizza with lot of variety. The Purple Resorts pool was dirty and service was not that good but apart from that it was a nice experience overall.

A great budgeted Purple Resorts who are visiting with the family to go to Auroville and not to far from the white town in Pondicherry. Hotel guys only provide the contacts for the scotty and cab. Rooms where pretty decent with a swimming pool adds a plus one point. Helpful guys at the reception.

Location is good nearby pool. Surrounded by trees. Good environment. I have never ever experienced like this Purple Resorts in this much low cost and swimming pool view and cleanings very good. Complementary food and accommodation, room service excellent. Staff are very supportive.

Peaceful location. Good property. Beautiful view from balcony. Neatly maintained room and bathroom. WiFi is poor. Pool is good but not properly maintained. Corridor is not well cleaned and maintained. Plates are left on the corridor outside the room for more than 24 hours.

Neat and peace rooms for couples to romance. Rooms are spacious to makes you woww .. TV will not show you any channels maybe it's not installed. Breakfast is nice with 3-4 varieties ... Swimming pool needs to be maintained well

Good place to stay with family or friends, I will refer people to purple resorts ... Worth for money. I loved the place but only discomfort is transportation we must have some vehicle to travel from resort to outside.

Room was good, but far away from city, near the serenity and arroville beach food was also good, well maintained, swimming pool is also available. It was a good experience staying in the Purple Resorts

Food is good. Buffet also nice.
Timing for swimming pool is not good.

Very large room. A bit like a serviced apartment with microwave and cooking facilities. Nice location. And unmatched value for money. Breakfast buffet is average but lots of nice food options in the neighborhood.

Best place to stay and its completely safe the view and the balcony is spacious and the bathroom is also good.

It's a nice stay and prices while you order there is high.
TV is not working and also insects around on it, should be look into those prob.

A very good location to relax, room service could've been a bit better .. Had to follow up a couple of times .. Nominal same breakfast for all the days .. Bit interior you could find Purple Resortss nearby but for bar you will have to travel.

It's amazing want to come again. Service was awesome location is perfect. Suggest everyone to go there but the food is costly but rest all is good I loved it and the swimming pool is like cherry on the cake. Overall awesome.

Location was somewhat outside of pond. Had to travel 30 minutes to reach beach and main areas.
Room was good. But we had to shift to another room. Because of three cockroaches.
