R. J. Resorts , Mall Road

We stayed at r j resorts for 4 nights from 8th to 12th february and i must say i had a memorable stay there. The location of the resort is fabulous on the mall road adjacent to few other well known properties so i was not very sure i was choosing the right property when i was making my choice but i should say that i am very satisfied that i made the right choice. The location, it's maintenance be it the reception or the rooms was excellent. The choice and taste of food served at buffet breakfast and dinner was also very good and above all the polite and friendly behaviour of all the staff was the icing on the cake. Truly speaking i am very satisfied with my stat at this wonderful property.

Neat resort, for the upper middle class. Bathrooms are clean, buffet is modest (good value for the cost. The sundeck terrace restaurant is breathtakingly beautiful, housekeeping is excellent, friendly staff, location is superb- z00, view points, shopping (mall area)very closeby & serve an excellent morning run thro the fog. Negatives- no moutain views (room overlooks the interior of the R. J. Resorts , Mall Road, small shower areas, no fan or ac or heater- so does get stuffy when the weather is not that great, the trips offered by the R. J. Resorts , Mall Road & airport pick ups etc are highly overpriced.

Everything was good in terms of location, hygiene and safety except the check in part. Coz we havent experienced a hassle-free check in. Out of the 3 rooms of same category we booked, we have been provided with 2 accurate rooms and we were asked to accommodate within a smaller room (3rd room) from what was described in mmt. The reason they have given is non-availability, then why we weren't informed about this during our booking. We have paid the full amount during the booking. Apart from this everything was satisfying.

The location of the R. J. Resorts , Mall Road is awesome. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. We were accommodated in a room with nice view of Hills. There is a nice terrace from where one can enjoy the hill views. The staffs of the R. J. Resorts , Mall Road were very co-operative and friendly. The foods are very good and hygienic. The transport (for pick-up, drop-off and sightseeing) arranged by the R. J. Resorts , Mall Road were very good and on time. Overall we had an excellent experience and nice stay.

One of the best R. J. Resorts , Mall Road you can get. Situated close to mall and near to the observatory hill view point, it is a fine R. J. Resorts , Mall Road with excellent views and warm hospitality. Definitely recommended for all visitors.

Good points 1. Location - very close to mall but you are away from the noises and crowd. Gives you breathing space 2. Food - breakfast spread is good. Quality of food is good. 3. Services - excellent service from front desk and all the staff. Bad point 1. No view from the rooms. I would have rated it excellent if it had the same 2. No wheel chair access - you have to climb down 10 steps from the road to get to lobby and access the elevator. Overall : i will stay here again

It was a memorable stay at the resort. Beautiful R. J. Resorts , Mall Road. We did not try any food except coffee for a single time. Food item cost are too high.
Dislike they could have supplied mineral water bottle every day without asking for plain water or mineral water. Food items are costly. Like else everything was excellent. Staffs were helping in nature. Beautiful R. J. Resorts , Mall Road. Location was good. No scope for complain.

Location was good and silent near Mayfair. The rooms are managed well. Food is very costly abut good quality. The R. J. Resorts , Mall Road has good decor but does not have Kanchenjunga view facility in the view rooms also. It overlooks the other side of the mountains. Well mannered staffs. Good leisure holiday. WiFi is a problem sometime.
Standard room with good facilities and twin beds.

The variety that was served for both breakfast and dinner were good. But taste wise it could have been much better.
I liked the closeness of the room. The room was extremely spacious and clean.

I would like to give this resort 5* rating for food and hospitality.

The R. J. Resorts , Mall Road is one of the really good R. J. Resorts , Mall Roads of darjeeling. The location is really nice as the walk to chowrasta is hardly 5 minutes and there are few view points nearly also.

Great R. J. Resorts , Mall Road, great hospitality, very clean. Good restaurant. But you need valley view rooms. The staff's behavior is simply great. I will again book this R. J. Resorts , Mall Road.
