Raanwaara

This was my second visit to the Raanwara. The location is a plus as it is only 5 mins drive to the beach. The cottage has a very nuce vibe, nice green veranda with palm trees. It has a large pool as well. The property is very well maintained, clean and has very nice and humble caretakers. Serves good food as well.

Very Pleasent environment. Owner and their staff are very careful, helpful and co-operative. Neat and clean rooms. swimming pool clean. Tasty food

The place is really amazing. Everywhere is surrounded by Greenery. Delicious fish food. The owner personally makes the food by taking quality delivery. The pool is small and can accommodate only 2 families and not more than that. Suggestion is to keep the rooms clean. As the room allotted to us is not good at all.☹️ The toilet pot lid was broken and was dirty😔. The water in the basin was with low water. The toilet jet spray stand was also broken.😟 Owner's should take care of such issues before allotting the rooms.

It was a lovely stay. The rooms were spacious. The garden area was beautiful, also they had lots of hammocks & swing.

I’ve visited Raanawara Cottage in Alibaug twice, and both stays were absolutely wonderful. It’s a well-maintained homestay tucked away in greenery with a clean and inviting pool—perfect for a peaceful getaway with family or friends. What truly makes the experience special is the food and hospitality. We tried the Chicken Sukha Thali and Veg Thali, and both were delicious, homestyle, and cooked with care. The food has that authentic home-cooked flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere. The owner’s wife personally prepares the meals, and she is incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive to guests' needs. Her cooking alone is reason enough to visit again! Highly recommended for those looking for a calm, green escape with great food and genuine hospitality.

A fantastic experience. We went as a family of 5. Memorable experience. Food was 5 star. The management was fantastic. Made us feel like family.

Stay was very good with clean room and washroom, outside food not allowed but internal food was reasonable as well very good in taste specially for family stay is excellent. Some rules are there which is good to follow but supporting staff. Will definitely recommendation for big family's as well big group. Or couple. Too quite and silent place in nature beach is approx. 2km from property also 30 rs entry started for nagoan beach which we can see used of money thats good.

Raanwara is a wonderful homestay near Nagaon Beach, The stay here was an amazing experience. The location is perfect—just a short distance from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sea and the sunset. The homestay itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly warm and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was the food, especially the biryani. It was absolutely delicious, and we loved it so much that we came back this year specifically to enjoy it again. The flavors were rich, and the portions were generous—definitely one of the best biryanis we've had. However, the only downside was the bathroom. The shower pressure was very low, and the water flow was quite weak, which made showering a bit inconvenient. Despite this minor issue, everything else was great, and we still had a fantastic time. Overall, I highly recommend this homestay for its cleanliness, great food, and hospitable hosts.

Stay is good properly is good but property is very interior once you reach inside the property then there is no transportation and shops available.

Great experience. Hosts are very friendly and cooperative. Highly recommended for friends and families.
