Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel

I regularly stay at radha regent. This time i stayed with family occupying two rooms for 3 days. While the rooms, food (buffet & room service), comfort, hygiene everything were good as usual, our experience with the frontdesk personnel was not so great. 1. We understand service segment especially in the hospitality industry can be very demanding and staffs can be under pressure, but that doesn't warrant the front desk personnel to show it on their face to the customers. While you are paying around 10k for two rooms for 3 days you would expect the front desk folks to be flexible with you. (specifically applicable to the female in the front desk) 2. My sister has a 5 months old baby and on our last day of stay she was not able to come down to breakfast complimentary buffet since the baby was continuously crying. While we requested for a dosa to be sent to the room from the complimentary buffet, the same was turned down again by frontdesk stating policy. I had stayed in various Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotels where staffs had been flexible for exceptional like this (where the mother can't leave or take the baby to the buffet. While the front desk folks has their own challenges and policies to adhere with, they don't have to show in on face to the guests and can relax a bit here and there based on the specific use cases. Thanks.

Stayed for a night. Gave me a free upgrade to the suite room which was a very spacious room. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Nice location - right off the 100 feet road and metro station. The one area of improvement i would like to highlight was my check out experience. For some reason, the lady who was handling my check out did not have the authority to check with the housekeeping staff if the room is cleared for checkout. She had to wait on her colleague who was busy with another guest. So, both of us had to wait for about 10 minutes until her colleague became available to work on her request. Otherwise, a short and a nice stay. The staff were very nice.

The Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel is well maintained, in-spite of being 2 decades old. Kudos to housekeeping team. Reception team needs training on how to welcome a guest, they are too mechanical and believe issuing room keys is their sole job. Dined at chinese reataurant, i think the Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel should shut this place, staff has no clue of what is on the menu and cant explain even 1 dish with confidence, poor training. Culinary team also needs to up their skills, food was terrible. Rooms are spacious and well maintained and appear fresh.

Overall located at the centre of the city and easily accessible to all locations across chennai. Good property with spacious rooms and well maintained rooms. The staff was very polite and helpful and the check-in process was very simple and fast. Breakfast too had many options and the restaurant was well maintained, the checkout process too was very smooth and overall i liked the stay. Will comeback again during my next visit to the city

The Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel is located just near to arumbakkam metro stn & near koyambedu bus stand. The location is great as well as the property. But the staff's service requires improvement. I have noticed most of the staffs are hiding themselves. They are not willing to come in front of the customer especially in the restaurant for complimentary breakfast. And we order dos a or omelet, it will take lot of time to be served

Hotel rooms and stay was good only thing issue with reception team and lobby the final bill preparation taken 45 minutes no proper documentation and no proper response. Before checking out from Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel 2 hours before itself i informed to prepare the bills but they taken me 1 hour of time after check out. Rest of the stay and food is quite super. Service is excellent, major issues with only reception team.

Radha regent's location is very convenient for people reaching chennai by bus or flight. There is good amount of parking space for those reaching by own car. It's an old Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel but the upkeep is excellent. Staff is courteous, food is great. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Bathrooms are clean and large, but need modernization. For my future trips to chennai, i would like to book this place again.

The stay experience was very good but the restaurant within the Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel is not that hospitable. Also the checkout process was really really time consuming and the staff were not aware/able to clearly explain the policies or extra charges that was billed. We almost spent 30 mins in the checkout process which is really not a good sign. Other than that the place is a very decent one!

Stay was amazing but I felt food was little expensive… Food part was little disappointing…. Overall a good stay

Good Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel in the centre of the city with an in in-house restaurant and spacious rooms, would just want them to have more focus on the bathrooms. A bit of cleanliness will help a lot in the upkeep of the Radha Regent - A Sarovar Hotel

Fnb, services and cleanliness is very good

Stay was good, and service also good but ac is too cold. Ac controls were not working. Because of this we are suffering from cold. Furniture also quite old.

Food was vey tasty & hygiene. Location is also centre of city so you can travel any of location quickly. Also connected with metro.
