Rah Bagh by The Orchard

5 star for property 5 star for quality of food 3 star for property location accessibility 5 star for room (we had mountain view room) 1 star for room issue that we encountered-at 4 am, we were woken up by a sound. We thought somebody was trying to open our door. Shocked in our sleep, we checked the door. Nobody was there. Still sound was coming. Then the sound started to move around inside the ceiling. We thought is was a rat. We called reception, no one answered. We tried housekeeping and a person came in around 6 am. When he checked, it was a bird which had entered inside the ceiling from some outside ac vent. Thank fully, he opened the shaft and the bird went out. But, we had already lost 2:30 hrs by now and the sleep which is always required when you are travelling. So, all in all, place is good but this incident made a dent in our mind about the place.

This property is nice to stay if you are looking for secluded stat in srinagar as property is 30 min drive from dal lake. Book this property only if you have your own private vehicle as going back in dark to this property is at times scary. Stay is comfortable and food is very good. Chef can accommodate extra request during breakfast. Swimming pool and jacuzzi as a option is good. Can enjoy sit out in nice clean weather in lawns that u might not find in other properties inact ac duct fall off in our room and manager shifted us to bigger room that had a bath tub too. So hospitality services are fine as resort manager listens to problem and try to correct in best of capacity. A table tennis table shoud be placed in game area for kids though overall a nice and comfortable stay

We stayed as a family for 2 nights at rah bagh by the orchard in the royal suite. The layout & view were nice. With an extra bed, a family of 4 could sleep comfortably. The service provided by the reception & housekeeping in decorating the room to celebrate my wife's birthday was exceptional. I found the entire staff always smiling and ready to help. It is the first Rah Bagh by The Orchard i have found that had subscription to all ott platforms on the tv. The only drawback being - the food was average. All in all, we had a good stay.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The Rah Bagh by The Orchard staff was courteous enough to take care of us. There was a games room which occupied my 14 year old son. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a nice and comfortable stay in srinagar

Location accessibility is not good. Approach road is extremely narrow with almost no sign boards. Food was good but breakfast was repeat of previous day and it was lacking in variety. Overall it was neat and clean. Shower was clogged and ceiling light cant be switched off at night due to switch issue.

Place is away from mainstream activities near dal lake. Few kms of road to Rah Bagh by The Orchard is not good. Well design Rah Bagh by The Orchard, need to improve up keeping and service. Restaurant is average. Had been to srinagar earlier, best is taj Rah Bagh by The Orchard.

First trip in kashmir and its a wonderful experience so far. This Rah Bagh by The Orchard has a perfect location in srinagar. Great food, great staff and the main thing is hospitality which is perfect for a relax and healthy stay. Specially thanks to abhinav ji, ali & pankaj.

Overall the stay was comfortable and the views were great as the Rah Bagh by The Orchard is on a height. Food was something that made the stay special including everything in the breakfast buffet. Staff is helpful and always present to guide you.
