Raindrops Resorts - A luxury boutique resort

Location This property is located Around 5Kms from sultan Bathery on the Bathery Gudalur Road. Once you turn off from the main Road, the Road leading to this property for Around 500Mts is in A bad shape but mot arable. Parking area There is A gated parking space to Park vehicles which can accommodate Around 10 cars, but there is no dedicated security staff. Check in formality Excellent experience, just took Around 2 3 minutes for the same and we were guided and introduced to the property and our units by Mr. Baiju, the Resort manager. Rooms The units are aesthetically furnished keeping in mind the surroundings. The unit was self contained with all facilities A traveller looks forward to. It had A tv, A nice queen size bed with clean sheets and A beautiful balcony providing A beautiful view of the paddy fields opposite to the property. The unit also had A coffee making kettle with good supplies provided. The bathroom was maintained brilliantly. No concerns on the quality of the linen and the bathing towels provided. Restaurant facility This is managed by their head chef Vipin, an youngster and A passionate foodie. We had ensured before reaching the Resort that vegetarian food was available at the Resort and our hopes did not let us down, we were treated with some amazing veg dishes including Kizhi which is one of the chef's best and other items during our stay for 3 days. They also serve great breakfast which has A rotating menu on A daily basis. We had the chance to taste A few of the Kerala specialties on one of the day. Staff Excellent set of people stationed in the Resort right from Mr. Baiju to Vipin and the other boys. Highly responsive and customer centric, A huge thanks to all the people in making our holiday very comfortable. Overall experience If you are looking A stay which is away from the City traffic and wants to spend some quality time with the nature, then this is the place to head to. I would highly recommend this property

Had a wonderful stay at the resort. Baiju, is a man who takes care of the property and is aware of all the plantations around. He is the manager too. He is friendly and a wonderful human being to guide you around. When at this resort without fault take a nature's trail with Baiju. Violin, is a great chef and he loves to cook traditional food for us. He too keeps talking to us and understands what is our liking for food and plans accordingly. Still suggest that leave it unto him and he will do his best. Just that be open for tasting traditional food. Please I request to not go there and order punjabi. I mean for the place where you are you want to enjoy the authentic dishes. Vipin is good at whatever he makes though. But, this is a suggestion to whoever is reading to try the traditional dishes. They are yummy! Leo, is one man who is also a wonderful person there. Always there to help, serve and take care. In fact every person on the premise is good. Very rarely it happens that one goes for a trip and returns rich with people connected. Such are these people that while returning we all got emotional. The person who owns the property he himself kept talking to us to know if we are good since he was not around. He was in Chennai. But till the last day he kept calling and talking to us. I would suggest to book and stay at the luxury cottage. Without fail have around at the paddy fields. Ride bicycle there. And explore. The helo of Baiju and Vipin and they will be more than happy to accompany you and guide you! Rooms are without a.c and atleast we were ok with it. The greenway around keeps it cool! And mind you we visited in May end! In summers. All in all our trip to Wayanad was wonderful, specially because of the property and the people we met there. Shall cherish this trip and visit again as promised to our friends there.

The property faces paddy fields on one side and is covered by a lush tree cover on the other side. Overall, a calm and serene location. The food is homely and healthy for the most part. When ordering from the menu, it's advisable to pick only south indian or, more specifically, malayali dishes. The non-south indian dishes are not done great. The breakfast table service on weekdays is good, but the weekend buffet is limited and underwhelming. The staff service was mostly prompt and they were always courteous. The management should pay some more attention to maintaining the interior of the cottages, especially the aging floors. Housekeeping is regular and thorough, barring some bugs finding their way into the room or restroom, which can be expected given the property's location.

Quaint and secluded cottages. Large spacious clean rooms. Also I felt the bathtub is too huge. Should have constructed a smaller one to minimize water usage. Room should also have an AC installed which will be a must during summers in Kerala. A shout out to the ever smiling, friendly and courteous staff. Your hospitality and personal touch makes this stay Worth the price.
Bathtub is very large and water heater is small. So not enough hot water for the tub. Also I'd suggest a smaller size of the tub to minimize water usage.

Everything is right about Raindrops starting from beautiful cottages, amazing food, jack fruit trees, birds and privacy. If you are traveling for exploring the beauty of Kerela, this place is a must visit. It's very true that pictures won't do justice to how beautiful this place is. A big shout out for the owners, chef and all the other staff members. Your hospitality and kindness makes the entire experience amazing It's like a real raindrop, it's pure, authentic and undoubtedly beautiful.

The property aa such is really good. The staff is courteous as well. Just that few things which weren’t right was, there is no wifi in the rooms and the network reception is pathetic. The property is lush green but due to which there were a lot of mosquitoes and insects inside the room. The water in the washroom was also an issue. No body checks when the water tank needs a refill. So there are high chances that u ll get stuck inside the loo or shower if the water supply is gone.

If you want to get whiff of fresh air, that is naturally flavored with ripening jack fruit and testy pepper. If you want to watch dewdrops on leaves, wild birds chirping and bright sunlight struggling to penetrate the thick foliage beside your cottage. If you like simple food, rustic stay at A modern cottage and if you like to sip coffee staying in A veranda and enjoy the calm and serene life of A forest. Walla, you got the right place.

The best part about the resort was the hospitality and the cottages. The team was available whenever needed. The food was delicious but the prices were a little on the higher side. The premium cottages rooms were cosy, comfortable and spacious. Other facilities include outdoor and indoor games in the resorts. The best season to visit the resort would be during the months of June-July or later October onwards.

Stay was good. Rooms were neat & clean. There was no activities as showed in pictures of resort, must be due to rain. And price in restaurant was beyond expectation. No doubt its high

Property is well connected and nearby to highway. Nice ambience. Food menu is limited and not very tasty. Staff was courteous and amenities are good

Slightly away from tourist places in Wayanad. But helpful staff and good food.

The resort is good with big rooms. The staff is friendly. One thing i didn’t like was the food. Quality is sub-par for north indian dishes but good for local cuisine.
