Rajalakshmi Guest House

The property is safe, good and budget friendly. Only thing i would like to request to "make my trip" is please keep the clear information about the ac and non ac booking charges separately. Here when i booked there was no such separately mentioned anything and i thought i would get ac room only (infact it was shown in facilities before booking that it is mm t value property and includes ac, tv etc, but when we reached they handover us non ac room! well. Weather place as well as staff service made it good experience. Thanks rajalakshmi guest house, thanks team *make my trip.

This property has spacious rooms with balconies. The budget twin rooms on ground floor are specially attractive for backpackers. They have a restaurant also but I didn't try it because of bad first impression: I returned to the guesthouse after a nice 40 minutes run around town and asked for a water bottle from the restaurant. They asked Rs. 30 for a Rs. 15 (maximum Rs. 20) one litre bottle. And it was some locally packed water, not even branded one. Guys, you can charge premium on your speciality food items and one would happily pay. But not water.

We are really happy to find this guesthouse and it's really cheap. But we didn't choose the AC room due to our own budget, so it's too hot for us to sleep in the night. We would recommend to choose AC room for visiting in July / August. We gave 5 stars review because the guesthouse manager is a really nice & helpful lady. She gave details information about the area and even helped us to plan our next trip. We felt really thankful to meet her. Last the room is really clean, can't find any single dusts in the room.

We had stayed for two days in family deluxe room, it was awesome, enjoyed every moment, very close to beach. This is second time booking the same place same beach view from balcony. You can hear the waves sound to room. It is in cente of mahabalipuram. Walkable distance to all sightseeing places. Awesome food, great hospitality by saravanan. It is a memorable one, all my family members had enjoyed the stay and services. Highly recommended to all, who loves to stay close to beach and enjoy delicious sea food. ,

The Rajalakshmi Guest House is located very close to the beach and number of restaurants. The restaurant with in the Rajalakshmi Guest House is cheaper than the others around. In addition, wifi is great in the room. The rooms are clean but the bed sheets and blanket provided were a downer. They were not washed very well. The Rajalakshmi Guest House overall is quiet with spaces around to sit and read. Staff is very helpful and forthcoming.

This place is small but beautiful. Location is excellent regarding it's vicinity to the famous tourist spots. However when we reached there, the Rajalakshmi Guest House and its locality didn't look safe. But this perception changed when we stayed there. Rather, the owner and manager were very good in behaviour and helpful. It was more like a homestay than a Rajalakshmi Guest House. We had a nice and comfortable stay.

We reached early and needed to wait till 12pm, but they had allotted us rooms in nearby Rajalakshmi Guest House, which is in same campus. After insisting they shifted us to another rooms, which were small but really good with basic facilities. The breakfast prepared was really nice. The staff is very courteous and were able to provide us good sightseeing information.

It is a beach shack, a budget accommodation, so expectations must be in line. Decent sized rooms, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean. Location is the best - it's a two minute walk from the beach, lots of options for cafes and restaurants around. The only downside? mosquitoes at night. Carry a mosquito-repellant, and it should be ok.

All went well ... Thankyou so much .. It was really nice to have such a homely feeling ... Keep it up ... No distractions. Rooms are small ... But very well organized .. If yu wanna have the feel of the exact Rajalakshmi Guest House it's gonna be hard. The place is meant for the people who love the simplicity of homely feeling

As its name suggest Its a guests house but best of ots kind Nice location Compact rooms but with basic need fulfilling. Service was okay.

The guest house is in an excellent locations, 2 minutes from the beach and any shopping you may want to do. Definitely the best value for money of the options available. They have a restaurant, but there is also a large variety available within walking distance.

Superb gesture. Its near the beach. So you can relax and stay happily there. Enjy your stay. I would give 5 star rating. So I would recommend it to bd best. Enjy the stay happily along with .. Food is also very nice there which would help you to stay with comfort.

The property was in a prime location. It had facilities like wifi and shower. The staff there were feeling us good. The overall neatness could be improved so that there will be more tourists in future.

Excellent location - just around 300 meters away from the sea shore. Awesome service - always with a smiling face. Staff behavior is polite and courteous. Rooms are a tad bit smaller, but tidy overall. Great value for money if you are a budget traveller.
